Marvel is just a step ahead in terms of marketing. I don't know if I've heard of a movie being pushed up like that. Maybe they initially announced a later date with the idea that they were going to move it up to keep people talking about it? I wonder if that sets some kind of trend going forward

Marvel has owned that first weekend in May for years. And I think that was still the plan again here, but Deadpool and Solo in May as well likely complicated things a bit. There's no real competition the week before, so it makes sense to move it up and spread the wealth, so to speak.

Same here. I have Homecoming, just haven't watched it yet. Missed Ragnorak too and it's not out on DVD, etc. yet. And haven't had time to see BP yet.

I actually thought about that earlier. For now I'll just assume Thor gets back to Earth since Hulk does.

I'd be willing to bet we get a new trailer and ticket sales announcement next week. Pairing a trailer with A Wrinkle in Time is a no brainer and I'm betting ticket sales are paired with the trailer.

Didn't feel like paying to see a 4th Spiderman in theaters (saw all the Topher Grace ones). Not sure why I missed Ragnorak. I enjoyed the other two Thor movies. Guess I got busy with other stuff for a while.

Wow I'm getting old with a bad memory.

Watched Homecoming tonight. Enjoyable movie with lots of lol moments. Loved all the tie-ins and head nods to other the other movies. The universe they've built out of 2 hours movies is incredible.

Sony needs to accept a buy out and return Spiderman to Marvel.

Personally, I like Iron Man the most. Probably because I love RDJ, though. I do like Cap and Star-Lord a lot, but Iron Man is my top guy.
