Interesting. I wonder how well/much they will do backstory and/or introduction to these characters. I suspect they're not all that well known. This trailer refers to his voice but doesn't explain anything about what they're talking about or why it matters that he's silent, etc.

Daisy has spent the last two seasons as an Inhuman Rights Activist for the most part (and has been awesome in doing so), so how they will manage to skip over her will be frustrating.

Hmmmm...

1) Glad to see some moon stuff, not set in Hawaii right off the bat
2) Black Bolt and Medusa look kind of lame
3) Karnak looked pretty decent?

I guess that's the downside of TV comic book shows - nobody looks that fantastical.

that looks terrible. and yeah, I think they put SHIELD in space so there would be no repercussions to the SHIELD universe. IF inhumans pans out, and IF SHIELD gets another season, then they may cross over.

And once again, this is the showrunner for Iron Fist, so I expect the fights to suck and the lore to be clumsily handled in favor of interpersonal relationships (also clumsily handled)

Even with them being in space, you can't pretend like their impact wouldn't be on Earth,

Hmm... that managed to make Ramsey Bolton look like a crappy actor...

Has ABC managed to put together a show that visually looks good and doesn't look plastic, since Lost?

Reminder: Marvel TV is not run under the same leadership as Marvel Studios.

Also, we don't actually know who took them to space, right? It would make complete sense for it to be the Inhumans who captured them for just an episode or so. Plus, it would help introduce everyone.

This looked like a very generic series that SyFy seems to pump out every year that lasts one or two seasons.

Not very excited for it.

Loved that Lockjaw was in it. Why wasn't Medusa's hair moving at all? In the comics, it's in constant motion. I got no sense of scale on Attilan....we only saw some interior shots that looked really cheap. The actor portraying Black Bolt just looks so....bland.

Medusa's hair is still the worst part. Maybe it flips out at someone once in the pilot episode but for the other 99% of the time it looks like a bad raggedy ann wig.

I wonder how many costuming iterations they tried in order to make it look cool but couldn't.
Seems like it would be fun to try.
It seems like they could put something in wig that would at least make it undulate a little.
Maybe its just hard to see in the trailer.


Hair extensions look like this. If they could find a way to put those on a tiny motor underneath the wig to move back and forth, it could create some subtle movement/volume. You'd have to put a lot of volume in to hide that, but her hair is stupid and flat currently anyway.

It's possible that they were to intent on CGI to try anything at all the old fashioned way. A battery powered wig would be expensive af, but her wig looks like crap and already was very expensive.


Basically, get a Barbarella wig, inlay some little motors inside the skull cap/bumpit, that move attachments back and forth just slightly so that there is alsways *some* movement.

Actually I think he's saying that they haven't done anything visually god since Lost, including this, but he's just phrasing it in a clumsy way that makes it seem like he thinks this looks good.

From that trailer, the set concept designers deserve to be fired
