That is a credit to the actor, writers, and Martin for making such a memorable character.

Ramsay was a phenomenal character played by a great actor. One of the most evil presences I've ever seen on screen.

Awesome to hear. Yeah, I seriously can't stop thinking about it. I've truly enjoyed the vast majority of Marvel movies - and there have definitely been a few legit great ones - but I've never come close to loving one as much as I do this one.

I think that it feels more like a Disney movie than a Marvel movie, if that makes sense. It felt a lot more like an adult version of Toy Story or Monsters, Inc. than a movie like Spider-Man.

I love seeing the variances in rankings, but also the ones pretty much everyone puts toward the top. Super interesting.

First, Guardians 2 was a fantastic movie. The major problem, in my mind, is that the singular movies don't matter any more. The historical significance of the MCU is the overarching Avengers story line started in Ironman. To tell a coherent story across 15+ movies has never been conceived before, more or less executed. This was one of the last chances to move that story line forward in a meaningful way.

You had this and then ragnorok to actually build Thanos into a villan worthy of this endeavor. Show him destroying the Nova core to obtain the Power stone. Show him in ragnorok destroying Odin and the rest of asgurdian immortals. By the time we hit Ininity war, it should have seemed hopeless for the Avengers and Earth. ....

Instead we are going to get Thanos all in one movie it seems. He shows up, destroys some stuff, breaks up the team and then get vanguished in short order like every other villain.

At this point, I would have sacrificed a great Guardians movie to tell a piece of the greater story line. Great movies happen all the time. You only get one shot at executing an all time multi-movie story arc. I feel like Gunn making this movie will rob us of that.

B. Nothing can take away from how great GotG 2 was

1) Yes I may be completely wrong and they may pull it off. But, if Thanos collects the stones in a 15 minute backstory in infinity wars, it's just dumb.

2) This was Gunn. He wanted to tell this story and have it be separate from the arc. They gave him that because he was awesome with the first one, and like I said, he did great with this one too.

I'd have to agree a little bit with him. I get needing to fill in the Ego story line but figured they could have worked but in an over arching story connection somehow and they didn't.
