I'm assuming the blurred out part is something that can identify the theater or person who has the drive, but I know literally nothing about it.

I'm sad I missed that Dr Strange outtake. I only saw the one with Mordo going after that one guy

Looks like a trailer for Cloak & Dagger dropped today. Didn't see it on here. I have no idea what Freeform is, is that what used to be ABC Family? Looks to me like it will be about as related to the MCU as Legion was to the X-men films. Anyway, could be interesting. Nice to see Roxxon Corp. I've watched a lot worse on CW's DC shows lately, so it's not like I'll turn my nose up at this without at least giving it a shot.

I have zero clue what that is about....
So which one is supposed to be Jack Flack?

Man there is just something about Zoe Saldana that I don't like. She's a good actress and good on the eyes, but for some reason doesn't fit in my head

Quote:

When Marvel Studios first announced Avengers 3, it was clear the studio was planning something big for the next Avengers sequel. First and foremost, it wasn't just Avengers 3it was Avengers 3 and Avengers 4, titled Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 and Avengers: Infinity War Part 2. Eventually Marvel decided that second film wouldn't be a Part 2 and is instead currently untitled, but the fact remains that these two movies will serve as a culmination of everything that's happened in the MCU thus far, bringing together all of the characters in two giant movies.

The connectedness of these films was further underlined by the fact that Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Civil War filmmakers Joe and Anthony Russo were tapped to direct both Infinity War and the untitled Avengers 4, and the plan was to mount a herculean production that would shoot both movies at the same timesometimes even shooting scenes from both movies on the same day. Filming has been underway in Atlanta since January, and while the production is full of secrets, a pretty big one slipped under the radar: they're not shooting both movies at the same time anymore.

"We're doing them one right after another It became too complicated to cross-board them like that, and we found ourselvesagain, something would always pay the price. We wanted to be able to focus and shoot one movie and then focus and shoot another movie."

"We've been lucky that [contract expirations] haven't factored in too much. We've had people under contract for certain films, then we've had new ideas and new directions like Civil War like we wanted to do, and we've been lucky enough to make new contracts. Or Spider-Man: Homecoming, the cast has been awesome in their enthusiasm for the direction and the storylines that we've been telling. So it really does, right now, all start with where we wanna take the stories. Certainly as we get to Infinity War there is a sense of a climax if not a conclusion to, by the time we're at untitled Avengers 4, the 22 movies that will have encompassed the first three phases of the MCU. And what happens after that will be very different. I don't know if it's Phase 4, it might be a new thing."

Reboot!

Dylan O'Brien for young Tony Stark. He has the acting range. Has a great sense of humor, can be vulnerable, and is ALMOST the right age.

No, I agree with the first poster. It has nothing to do with the green color, she just doesnt fit my image of Gamora.

not sure if racist!!!! </jk>

1. She is a bit older than Gamora is typically drawn
2. Comic Gamora's hair tends to be all black or black/blue, not black with red highlights - so the hair difference is an issue
3. Movie Gamora is too "soft" and nice vs how she is written
4. Comic Gamora is a moving/fighting/active badass. In the movies she is not that active/gung-ho, and they are spending too much time on the Peter/Gamora romance.

I hate the way they portray Gamora in the movies. She has 10x less character than any of the other members of the team. She has less character than Yondu and even Nebula. She and Ronan were both one note forgettable characters. This annoyed me to no end, because comic Ronan and Gamora are both interesting, complex characters.

No. I imagine both scripts are 100% complete by now. They give a pretty good explanation in the article.

Looks like they recognized that they were biting off more than they could chew and took a step back.

That explanation, to me, read like "Doing it this way was sacrificing quality. We're not gonna sacrifice quality."

It also likely reflects recent statements indicating Avengers 4 will be going in a new direction, so there are likely SOME rewrites going on to move that way.

If you've ever heard an interview of hers you'll figure it out, she doesn't come across as very intelligent.

All I know is, I'm going to have to go dark when they start filming Avengers 4. Every set photo, every rumor or casting call, is a spoiler for Infinity War.

Man, this sounds awesome. If this really is everything everyone hopes it can be, I really could see - as the article suggests - Marvel basically spinning this world/these characters off into their own thing (still in the overarching MCU, of course)...

I am calling it here and now:

Avengers: Disassembled

Fits in with a classic storyline
Fits in with the rumors of a change in the guard and focus on the newer characters

I just do not like Black Panther. He is literally the exact same thing as the SubMariner - another unlikable Marvel character.

1. Both are rulers of their nations
2. Both are arrogant, insufferable *******s
3. Both get pissy and quit/return to their homes when things do not go their way
4. Both do not play well with others. Ever,

Feige has been suggesting that perhaps there won't be a "Phase 4," per se. Perhaps after Phase 3 we'll just have various films and franchises without an overarching build to a super big-bad like Thanos.

I really wish they could make a deal with Fox and get the F4 and their villains for Phase 4 and beyond. Doom is one of the few that might hope to match a Thanos level of build-up, and could conceivably fit in the style of the Captain America or (presumably) Black Panther films. More political thrillers. He'd also fit in with the Doctor Strange supernatural stuff, from what I understand.

I guess I don't want them to just repeat the Phase 1 model, but I love crossovers too much to get very excited about a ton of solo adventures.
SeattleAgJr
How long do you want to ignore this user?
they will not abandon the crossovers. too much money to be made in those vs solo films.
rhutton125

For sure - I just want more, not less. Gimme all the crossovers. Every time!

Reviews are coming out for Guardians, by the way. Looking like 92% on the first 36 reviews. It may be a good example of one of those more intimate, less world-changing type films. I suppose not every movie can be Civil War, nor should it.

I think for a while you'll get more casual crossovers like in Ragnarok. Two or three characters teaming up.

I'm trying to not get too far into reviews but from what I've seen it looks like it's good, just not as good as the first
