how can you not watch the trailer, especially the build towards the end, and not just get a grin that grows wider and wider.

Yes BvS had the good one liner when Wonder Woman showed up, but this trailer MAKES me want to see this movie.

Not related to marvel, but this is the craziest example of Internet autism I've ever seen.

Such a great trailer. I've always enjoyed Thor as a character, but Asgard, to me, has just been so boring and stuffy as hell. Also, The Dark World had maybe the most bland villain of all the Marvel movies so far. Ragnarok, however, looks like so much fun, and like they're skewing that world just enough to be quirky and interesting (ala Guardians, no doubt). Can't wait for this.
They were eventually going to half to do this if they wanted to show more of the universe outside Earth. In the Thor movies, we've seen Asgard, Jotunheim, Vanaheim and Svartalfheim which are Norse worlds with medieval lore. Little more cold and dull. Then you have the GotG with these bright, eccentric worlds like Xandar, Knowhere, remains of Morag. Completely different part of the galaxy. These were always eventually going to cross paths and it looks great so far. Also why I'm hoping the GotG cameo at one point

They used an actual panel from a comic drawn by Jack Kirby as the background for this image. It is a nice homage to one of the original Marvel artists and writers

I should have been more clear, I meant to ask what it was being worked on in Fantastic 4. You point out that it doesn't really matter, though.

I think it would be awesome if Thor's roommate from Earth could get a little screen time when he comes back to Earth. It absolutely could fit with the tone set with this movie.

The amount of $$ that Disney has coming in between Marvel and SW is staggering.

Then throw in their live action remakes like Beauty and the Beast or The Jungle Book ... what's that, just chump change?

100% - Maybe not in terms of EBITDA, but for sheer Gross Revenue...has to be.

According to MarketWatch.com in the past 5 years, Disney has raised their EBITDA every year.

I'm so pumped for Lion King. Favorite animated movie of all time, and that seems to the popular opinion among most of my generation.

$1.5 billion, easy.

Yup. I know I'm biased since I was a kid at the time, but the 89-95 Disney Renaissance Era is easily the best era for animated movies.

Already in development. Guy Ritchie directing, aiming for either a 2018 or 2019 release.

Nostalgic me wants to agree, but for comparison look at this initial run of Pixar movies:

Toy Story
A Bug's Life
Toy Story 2
Monsters, Inc.
Finding Nemo
The Incredibles
Cars
Ratatouille
WALL-E
Up
Toy Story 3
Bruce Almighty

The Disney Renaissance was really only 4 good movies.

That's what I consider the 4 good ones to be. Pocahontas was a big step down from Lion King and Hunchback was even worse. I guess Disney rebounded with Hercules and Mulan, though I wasn't a fan of Hercules personally.
