Perhaps! Anything is possible. In my head, though, I imagine him as the least-crucial cast member of Civil War.

But if the Avengers movies are any indication, even the 2nd-tier heroes get some pretty cool parts. (Even Hawkeye, as neglected as he may have felt in A1, really tears things up on the Helicarrier)

Man... can't wait.

I still think that events in Ant Man will directly lead to the blow-up that results in the Civil War. Anateur hero causes a disaster on American soil, leads to the demand for oversight in the new Avengers Initiative

So we get to blame the Civil War on Paul Rudd?

Sounds good to me!

I still think they use the damage they did in A2 as the opener for Civil War. That Hulk/HulkBuster fight alone did enough damage to cause the government to look into the reg act.

I honestly think SHIELD is going to play into this, SPOILERS for finale.

We just saw a crapton of the Terrigen crystal get into the water and food supply. It can be a great throw away line about people suddenly getting powers and we know how from the show.

I think the impact of that will stay limited to AoS for the time being. We haven't even been introduced to Inhumans in the movies, yet.

Little more spoiler warning next time please

I realize, but saw both lines in the same glance. Just figured I'd mention.

Sitting here watching GotG again. I didn't notice this before, but anyone else wonder why they showed that stupid little blue statue thing twice? Once when Yondu said he liked to put them on his control panel and again just before the final fight. Secret infinity stone?

Edit. 3 times. He just picked it up after he crashe .

I'm going to go with no.

Nothing really points to it having any value.

Marvel is not known for subtle, even in its teaser/stingers.

Just going to go with character building.

Probably a coincidence, but I noticed that in GoTG, Quinn has 12% of a plan.

In Avengers 1, Tony tells pepper to take 12% of the credit for the arc reactor powering stark tower.

Very well could be humor. Just bugged me that they centered on it 3 times Not just background stuff but full on "hey look at this" shots.

Or work for the Big 12.

Wouldn't that be 10% of a plan?

I finally saw Age of Ultron last night. I thought it was great but the big surprise for me was how excited I was for Fantastic Four after seeing the preview for the first time. I have been skeptical but that preview looked awesome

Man, I hope it's good, but after seeing the great "Every trailer is the same" video, and seeing the FF trailer 3 times in 3 weeks, I'm disappointed with how generic the trailer itself is. "Opening shot of a city," "bwammmm," "post-title joke before giving us the release date"... it really has it all.

It would be great to have a GOOD Fantastic Four film, but we'll see. I don't have as much faith in Fox as I do the actual MCU films.

So this is pretty funny: My son is about to turn 6, finally getting to the right age for some of these movies. We watched the 2005 Fantastic Four over the weekend (which, except for all the Johnny Storm extreme sports stuff hasn't aged too badly). My wife asks at the very beginning "Wait, Captain America is part of the Fantastic Four?"

Tilda Swinton as "Doctor Strange's mentor, a Tibetan mystic known as the Ancient One, who is training pupils to be the next sorcerer supreme" sounds AMAZING...

This is the one Marvel movie that I'll probably skip and not care that I missed it. I completely skipped Constantine too. I'm a comics guy but that stuff just doesn't work for me.

Agreed that the mysticism is a bit weird, but this is shaping up to be a hell of a cast, with a great screenwriter.

Jon Spaihts? I'm looking at what little info there is on wiki. He and the alleged director (Scott Derrickson) both seem kinda spare. Hope I'm wrong though.

Never judge a screenwriter solely on his produced credits. So many of them have written tons of quality work that has never been made for reasons beyond their control. Spaihts wrote one of the greatest unproduced sci-fi scripts of all time, called Passengers, which is finally going into production this year. He also wrote the first draft of Prometheus, which was far better than the version Lindelof/Scott/Fox screwed up. The guy is legit. He's one of the top five go-to guys for stuff like this right now.

Doctor Strange only has three people cast (or in talks) and it may already be the most impressive cast for Marvel yet.

Benedict Cumberbatch
Chiwetel Ejiofor
Tilda Swinton

3 Oscar noms, 2 wins

Anyone follow MCU on FaceBook? Wondering if there's any truth the IronMan wearing his Bleeding Edge armor in Civil War?
Red Five
How long do you want to ignore this user?

It might look like Bleeding Edge, but I doubt it goes much further. That would be a lot to explain in a movie that isn't even about the character exclusively.
