Think that's way beyond what we'll get right now. Being able to grow to be gigantic is sort of a story-breaker. Maybe they pull that out against Thanos.

Wild theory- Peter Quill is going to be either Adam Warlock or Thanos' son in the MCU.

Keeps him being half ancient race, would explain his ability to hold an infinity stone, would add drama and introduce a character a lot more.

No way Thanos is his father, but I think Adam Warlock is a distinct possibility.

He dies in Civil War though.

And I started the comic thread because I knew there would be "that guy" sooner or later....

I like him, but if my memory serves, even in his evil roles he's always been a laid-back, slow rolling dude. Having a hard time seeing him as manic as the Goblin is (in the iterations I've read/seen, at least).

But gotta admit, its exciting if true.

You may remember that he was once in the running to play Cap. Marvel likes who they like, and eventually find roles for them, it seems.

Obviously getting Spider-Man is the big "get" for the MCU, but getting Osborn is second on the list. He will be a very different type of villain for the MCU. Especially with Tony being phased out, we can have Osborn as sort of the Mirror Stark. No goatee, uses his riches for evil instead of good.

It will be interesting to see if we meet Osborn AFTER he has had his Goblin phase, or before. Obviously Green Goblin and the iterations thereafter have been seen on screen before, but the more modern Osborn is a puppetmaster type villain (who, yes, occasionally Goblins it up).

Since Paul was spotted on scene. Does anyone see the ending of Ant Man as him trying out the Giant Man suit or do they lame it up and keep him AntMan?

Scott Lang was never Giant-man. I'm not certain whether or not he ever had the power to grow giant-sized or not (I dont think so), but I know he only ever went by Ant-man.

True, but Ant Man wasn't in Civil War...Giant Man was. Wasn't sure how you saw it played out.

The MCU isn't beholden to the comics. I really expect them to just do their own thing.

I think introducing small AND big might be too much for one movie. In a universe with Asgard and a talking raccoon, shrinking into powerful tiny-form is already stretching our disbelief a little bit.

But I guess we'll know in 2 months!

I was thinking maybe at the end they just show him picking up a different suit or just a shot of him being Giant Man after the credits. Something to just show us, boom civil war.
