How long do you want to ignore this user?
I have not seen any of these movies, but my son wants to see Age of Ultron. His friends have been talking about it and they are all going to see it with their older brothers.

Are these PG13 movies too violent for 6 year olds?

We already know (or highly suspect) that the aether is an infinity stone. Is there something I'm missing here?
But we dont know which infinity stones are which.

We suspect the tesseract is space (Avengers). Loki's Staff is mind (Avengers). We suspect the aether is power some think its reality (the physics changes in London, Malakan wanting to shift the entire world back to Darkness). The orb (GotG) who knows.

Its all patchy. I wonder if Age of Ultron will even deal with infinity stones, there is so little time to link it to Guardians who knows.

MAYBE the stinger after the credits? I don't think Ultron has any connection the stones whatsoever,

I don't think so, there is implied sex in iron man 1 (reporter doing walk of shame), and maybe some 'damns' here and there. I can't recall anything gruesome. People get shot and fall down, a few people explode in iron man 3, but they glow and go 'bang' no body parts.

Avengers 1 has some aliens getting shot/stabbed.

I think ultron May be a little darker, so you may want to wait and check back on here after the release.

Maybe, but that's what most everyone thought about Guardians.

BTW, did we ever determine who is the girl in that top pic on this page?
Yeah we did determine it. She's my future wife so you can just step the hell off!

We have seen Lokis staff I believe in the promotions.i think the opening of the film will be the avengers breaking in to struckers place to steal it back. This is when the encounter scarlet and quick and have their visions that affect them. I imagine this is the first 30 minutes or so. I have seen some speculation that the visions cause Tony to then create ultron. Some think he uses the mind stone to create ultron and vision for true as.

How far in the future? Enough time for someone to slide into her DMs now?

Thank you. I would wait a couple weeks anyway for a movie this big.

And we live in Missouri. I am good with him not knowing what meth or NASCAR is yet.

I'm with you Tanya. Just because its Marvel doesn't guarantee that it's okay for kids of all ages. I have a five year old who has seen some of the earlier movies, and some of those were the TV edited versions. But he hasn't seen Guardians because I prefer my five-year old not know the word a-hole. You have to take the Marvel movies on a case by case basis. Some are a little more harsh when it comes to language and violence than others, even though they may only be pg-13. See it by yourself first is my recommendation.

The stone from Gotg was the power stone which was why it enhanced Ronan's hammer.

Also, just the buzz around a new Marvel film is pretty electric.

We are around the same age so 2 years or so. Just don't trash my final resting place.

Some are a little worse than others. I would bet money that FX (if you get that channel) will be showing pretty much every previous Marvel movie between now and when AoU comes out, so you can catch the 'edited-for-tv' versions of them.

Iron Man 1&2 I think are fine. Not much bad about either one. Iron Man 3 seemed a tad more blue and violent (it is from Shane Black).

Thor is much more kid-friendly and funnier than you'd think.

Captain America is fine (he's a Boy Scout). The second one may have a too-complex political plot and the action seems much less 'comic book' and a little more intense. But it is their best film, IMO.

The Avengers has everything you can imagine a little boy would love in a comic book film.

Guardians is a helluva lot of fun, but there are several jokes that are a little much. Yeah, my then-six-year old didn't get the black light joke and I wouldn't explain it to him.

You would think a sentient android has no relation to superpowers, but remember we are now in the age of miracles (quicksilver/scarletwitch). Stage 2 is gonna be more powers not less. And color me shocked if ultron(&bots) are the only bad guys present during the final fight scene.

It would be poor writing if every final fight scene of avengers were 1-2 guys finishing the boss and the rest dealing with his armies. Further it would be bad if it were 8 on 1.

Been enjoying the last few weeks continual replays of Marvel Universe movies on numerous channels.

Starz has been showing CA2 like nobody's business. Even showing Iron Man 3 a lot, too.

HBO has shown the different XMen and Wolverine movies.

TBS/TNT/USA/FX have been showing All of the Iron Mans, XMEN, Wolverine1, Thor 1 and CA1, too.

Heck, last night, at times that overlapped with each other: Starz had CA2, FX had Avengers, and HBO had The Wolverine.

Marvel is run by friggin' geniuses.

Think it releases at 2 am central tonight.

The reviews so far have been excellent, no reason to think it will be anything but great coming from Marvel and Netflix.

And here is a very short youtube clip showing what his eventual costume will look like
