Tom got a little antsy seeing Zendaya talking babies with Chalamet, so he had to put out the trailer where he probably hooks up with Sadie Sink.

So…this is just a bunch of real short clips thrown together of what's been released so far for Spider-Man BND….but the last clip before Tom starts talking showing Spider-Man getting hit by a van….pause it and it's real obvious who that is…

Looks amazing, no pun intended.
Although Banner needs to pick a body and stay with it.
Still confused how Dr. Strange's spell worked. I thought the people would just forget he was Spiderman, but instead nobody knows there is a Peter Parker at all?

That was the original spell they did at the beginning that broke the multiverse. The original spell brings the villans into mcu so they are tied to the original spell. So In order to send the variants back home he has to do the forget Peter spell in order for the original spell to end. Thus sending the variants back to were they came.

Peter 1: They're coing here because of me, right? Because I'm Peter Parker? So cast a new spell. But this time, make everyone forget who Peter Parker is. Make everyone forget... me.
Stephen Strange: No.
Peter 1: But it would work, right?
Stephen Strange: Yeah, it would work. But you got to understand, that would mean everyone... who knows and loves you... We'd... We'd have no memory of you. It'll be as if you never existed.

In She Hulk, he's smart Hulk, but in the end credits of Shang Chi, he was just Bruce Banner
The Internet is buzzing that this person is Sadie Sink playing Jean Grey from the X-Men to kick off their reboot. Kind of interesting to have a non-MJ redhead show up in Peter's life, eh?

Looks fun! But jeez looks like a lot of baddies in this one. Watched trailer a few times and I count:
- Old lady driving tank who can jump into other people
- Scorpion (who I think is the same dude with arms spread out looking at screens wearing a hood…or could be the baddie above I just mentioned)
- dude wearing blue/white suit with helmet (also in thumbnail) throwing stuff at spidey
- quick shot of spidey on a ship with a Deadpool looking character coming at him with cops
- the red ninja group in the prison and outside…
- frank castle (it's a love/hate I'm sure)
Good grief that's a lot to contend with

Side note, Zendaya with 3 mega blockbusters this year (The Odyssey, Spiderman BND, Dune 3), is any star in recent memory competing with that?

The original spell was "Forget Peter Parker is Spiderman". After all of the multiverse shenanigans, the new/final spell was "Forget Peter Parker".
From someone's comment I found online that explains it pretty well:Quote:
That was the original spell they did at the beginning that broke the multiverse. The original spell brings the villans into mcu so they are tied to the original spell. So In order to send the variants back home he has to do the forget Peter spell in order for the original spell to end. Thus sending the variants back to were they came.
ETA the dialogue from the final spell:Quote:
Peter 1: They're coing here because of me, right? Because I'm Peter Parker? So cast a new spell. But this time, make everyone forget who Peter Parker is. Make everyone forget... me.
Stephen Strange: No.
Peter 1: But it would work, right?
Stephen Strange: Yeah, it would work. But you got to understand, that would mean everyone... who knows and loves you... We'd... We'd have no memory of you. It'll be as if you never existed.

Even further back (which doesn't really apply to the original question) was Jim Carrey with The Mask, Ace Ventura and Dumb and Dumber in 1994.
This is actually a repeat for Zendaya from 2021 (if you stretch the "mega blockbuster" meaning a bit):
Space Jam: A New Legacy, Dune, Spider-Man: No Way Home

Many times I've thought to myself "It will take a movie the size of the Odyssey to surpass Space Jam: A New Legacy".

Oh, and the red ninja group is The Hand. Wondering if we get Daredevil or Elektra to make an appearance.
SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY first trailer has broken GTA 6 trailer 24h record (475M) in less than 12 hours to become the first trailer in history to hit 500M views in less than 24h.
