F yeah. I've been wanting this for years and that's basically the ideal lineup (aside from maybe Strange and/or Wanda, though their whereabouts are in limbo after their last appearance).

You just wish they'd done anything to tease any of this aside from the Black Knight and Blade post-credits from 2021 that nobody remembers. We actually haven't seen any of these characters since 2022 and they're just now hinting at a future for any of them (if this is even legit, which it may not be).

So, is what's his face in that graphic still contracted to play Blade? He's about a decade older from when they first announced he would have his own Blade movie.

I think just speculation. And the only Blade tease was where you hear a voice when Kit Harrington looks at the ebony blade. It wasn't clear that it was Blade but it was confirmed later. Shrug

Jeff Sneider (via "The Hot Mic") is super reliable/one of the best scoopers in the game. I know him personally, can vouch for him, and he's as legit as they come. The solo Blade movie being scrapped in favor of Midnight Sons is his news, so it's likely true (though things could obviously change). If it happens, as of now Midnight Sons will be a movie, not a Disney+ series. And with the rumors of Jordan Peele possibly directing a Marvel property, and his production company officially tweeting in reaction to the rumor a couple weeks ago, there's speculation (but not from Sneider) that Peele could maybe be directing Midnight Sons. We'll have to wait and see.

I'm not 100% sure. I haven't seen him mentioned before, and he'd seemingly be the only non-supernatural character of the bunch. But after how much exposure he's about to get this year (in season two of Daredevil, also in his own limited series, and in Spider-Man: Brand New Day), they could totally decide to include him.

Gotcha thanks... Midnight Sons sounds like it could be cool, but I'm not holding my breath.

Speaking of Peele, I'm not sure exactly how excited I'd be for something he's attached to at this point. I don't know how involved he was on Him, but I just saw that movie and it's easily one of the worst films I've ever seen. I think the director thought he was making a music video and had no idea it was actually 90 minutes and was supposed to have a script.

Yeah, people have been pretty critical of his producing efforts as of late. Him got such bad reviews that I avoided it all cost. Ha, just from the trailers alone the 90-minute-music-video thing seems spot-on. That said, while I'm not a big Nope fan, and I kind of hated of hated Us (or at least the ending), I do think Peele would do something interesting/different with a Marvel property, which would also have some natural guardrails that kept him from going too weird.
