I mean, they've done this multiple times before (re: debuting Marvel trailers during Good Morning America). The only other ABC shows during which they've debuted Marvel trailers are Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Monday Night Football, neither of which are airing next week. Otherwise, it makes zero sense to debut a trailer during, say, Grey's Anatomy, considering, like you implied, the stars can't appear during those types of shows to promote the projects, it would make way less sense logistically, would be super random, etc.
Regardless, why are you so hung up on this? Because, again, THE SUPER BOWL IS FIVE DAYS LATER, which is all that matters eyeball-wise. It's utterly irrelevant in terms of Fantastic Four's success/awareness as to which show it debuts during prior to then. The GMA debut is strictly to get more eyeballs on GMA, not the other way around.

What are they basing that on? Expectations? Posters? Cast? Have they seen the movies?
They basically mean in terms of anticipation, cast, concept, story, etc. "Best" is probably the wrong word, but you get the gist. Either way, I don't know about you, but I haven't been this excited for a run of Marvel movies since before Endgame.
My order of anticipation:
1) Thunderbolts
2) FF
3) Brave New World

It's a big year for the Marvel fan in me. I've been clamoring for a good F4 for years, and Thunderbolts are my favorite team/concept in the comics.

I just wanna say… the Thing is a top-5 Marvel character. The quintessential underdog hero - flawed, in over his head, never giving up.

Ok, great trailer for FF, and I got chills at the family aspect. Guardians brought the family and heart aspect to the previous Marvel phases, which was desperately needed to get the audience invested in these comic book stories. Its been missing in the Marvel movies since Endgame. If FF can be the new family/heart then just maybe Marvel can recapture the magic.
