Actually, Falcon & Winter Soldier will likely hit Disney+ before Black Widow in May, but maybe by only a month or two, if that...

The rumor is August 2020 for Falcon and Winter Soldier. But I think we'll see Loki and WandaVision before that, since they were the first ones rumored and I think WandaVision is already filming.

Was watching Collider's "For Your Consideration" video on Endgame's Oscar chances, and they seem to think Marvel will make a hard push for RDJ for Supporting Actor, and that he actually has a legit shot at a nomination.

Thoughts on this?

I think it's gonna be highly dependent on how the rest of the year shapes up, but if I had to put a number on it, it's say 50/50 he gets the nod. (More so as a way to honor the complete role throughout the MCU.)

I'm hoping that Far From Home really does feel like a sort of epilogue to the whole MCU journey up to now. And then a pause will make sense before kicking off the next true phase.

I think he will absolutely get nominated. I'd heard the supporting nom might be it, but I don't think that was a supporting role. I assume they'll just feel it out and make the push in whatever they feel gets him nominated.

Maybe they even think he can win the supporting actor award? We'll see...

F&WS is actually the first to film. I'm pretty sure it starts next month or early August. WandaVision doesn't film until the fall. I haven't heard any filming dates for Loki yet. Either way, that August 2020 date makes sense, given it'll be just a little over a year after filming begins. I didn't know if they were going to treat this like a network/basic cable show, where it starts airing before filming on the season is complete, or if they're doing it like HBO and filming/editing the entire season before the first episode airs. Definitely sounds like the latter.

Agreed on both accounts. This will be a welcomed break, then it sounds like next summer will start wall-to-wall content with Black Widow in theaters, and then the Disney+ series beginning to follow relatively soon after.

I think they know they've tapped out the world as much as they can on marvel for a bit. So a 10 month wait time isn't bad at all, give everyone a chance to breathe and restart. Can't wait to see how the next saga shakes out.

How many of y'all will get Disney+? Is this going to be Hulu converted into D+ or will it be separate from Hulu??
