So, this kind of like Ironman with 2 guys fighting in their own versions powered suits

Man... I have no idea HOW this would bridge the gap between phases 2 and 3, but that's pretty exciting if that ends up being the case.
Agreed - movie looks way better now that we've seen some more footage. And been given an actual plot, and explanation of powers.
quote:OTOH, Feige (in that link from AgMaurauder one page back) directly says that it DOES bridge 2 to 3. IIRC, it's Ant-Man and some other minor hero types that stir things up enough that Stark supports the registry that Cap opposes while leads to the Civil War thing.
I've heard that Ant-Man doesn't do much bridging of phase 2 and 3. I don't think it really advances the overall plot much, if at all. More of a one-off kind of thing, though we might see Rudd again in Avengers 3, potentially.
quote:Loki's Sceptor is one. (Well, the gem from it)
Ok, I just watched Thor 2 yesterday, and the collector from Guardians (Benicio Del Toro) shows up at the end and grabs the dark matter stuff and says "one down, five to go".
Could someone give me a rundown of what all the objects are, which ones we've seen, and which ones we haven't? I remember the Tesseract from Avengers, and the Orb from Guardians, but that's it.

Or words to that effect...

i doubt the actual plot plays much into it. I'm guessing that there will be a post-credit teaser (or it will be mentioned in Cap 3).
Stark will probably see Ant-man and Spidey as "amateurs" that need to be reigned-in through oversight. They'll be the straw that breaks the camel's back.
quote:There's a pretty strong theory it will actually be in Avengers 2, with the Vision.quote:

The gems so far:
Tesseract (space)
Aether (reality)
Orb (power)
Loki's scepter (mind)
Soul gem will almost certainly be in Guardians 2. That leaves only the Time gem, probably in Thor: Ragnarok or the first Infinity War movie.

quote:True, especially considering that ***SUPER MINOR DAREDEVIL SPOILER*** there's some events in Daredevil that gain media attention. Maybe Spidey isn't really a known commodity yet?
The spider-man info makes you wonder how it ties with DDL two masked vigilantes in one city, and a city that already suffered from two other hero events (hulk and avengers) prior.

Feige was also quoted saying, "There is a young kid [already] running around New York City in a homemade version of the Spider-Man costume in the MCU, you just don't know it yet."
quote:It's not exactly the same, but when the X-Mansion was destroyed for the 1,462,347th time, the robotic AI that ran the Danger Room came to life and decided to exact revenge on the X-Men for being abandoned. It formed a robot body and called itself "Danger".
