"La Grange"

Should also be the entrance song for the football team (if not for historical significance alone).

Glad to see the piano intro to "I Need A Lover" get a mention.

Van Halen--"Intruder" lead-in to Pretty Woman and "Eruption" lead-in to You Really Got Me. Some people think of those as separate songs, but I do not.

Also like the intro to Laying Down The Law by The Law (Paul Rodgers-led group)

My vote for best:

Over the Hills and Far Away

Not to completely dork out, but if you listen to a good copy through a decent set of headphones, the separation between the left and right channel during 2nd half of the intro when the 12-string picks up is awesome.

Other favs of mine I didn't see (or overlooked):

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here

Smashing Pumpkins - Today

Weezer - Undone

Foo Fighters - Everlong

DMX - Intro (AKA, The Tyson Song; co-opted by Chuck Lidell)

Winger - Seventeen

Honestly, we could have a thread just for Zeppelin intros. They have some of the best of all time. Just off the top of my head:

When The Levee Breaks - That beat alone is utter genius.
Whole Lotta Love - Possibly the most famous rock and roll riff of all time.
Immigrant Song - Gets me pumped every time.
Dazed and Confused - Dat bassline.
Black Dog - Just damn sexy.
Battle of Evermore - Just a personal favorite of mine.
Hank Mardukas

So if you're lonely, you know I'm here waiting for you.

Really like the Take Me Out intro. Rest of the song is way overplayed obviously, but the slow-down into the chorus I love.
