I don't hate Cody but I think he's corny and I'm never a fan of the boy scout baby face. But WWE made it work and he's a huge star now… it's not for me, but I'm sure little kids eat it up and they're more important than what I think

What year was this? I know you follow this stuff and are aware of what was going on with him at the end of AEW.
Also I've seen Cody probably 10 times in person
I probably last saw him end of 2020 or early 2021.
He is not my favorite at all, and I sorta think this is all paying him off for multiple reasons but he was more impressive live than I ever gave him credit for prior.

I've been following Cody since his ROH days, so I'm a fan, and I'm happy -for him- that he won. That said, Roman is a great dude, and I wouldn't have been upset in the slightest if he had won and kept going.

Still would have been awesome to see the music stop and a Burberry scarf appear on the screen as Cody was celebrating at the end.

I don't think the Rock is going away. A lot of unfinished business left.
A little overdone at the end but it was still a great match.. only way it could have been better if both Golddust & Moxely have shown up.
