I admit I am biased bc I am not a fan of these types of matches but AEW is putting these types of matches on like they are a major blood feud with almost no build. I'm a fan of an alternative and I will continue to buy their ppvs (bought all in and double or nothing) I just don't see this formula working on a bigger stage than people who have already bought into the Indy scene.


The story is that both of the guys are "death match" specialist.

They've only been able to build the PPVs through Being The Elite so far. I think they've done a pretty good job of storytelling with all things considered

I got to watch a rerun of Fyter Fest on the B/R Live app today. Looks like another successful wrestling event from AEW. I love the build up between Moxley and Omega going into the All Out event.

I mean, was that even a work? Since pyro is banned it leads me to wonder (which is a good thing). Plus Corey Graves dropping a "Holy Chit!" when it happened.

It's been a pretty low bar but this has been the best first hour of RAW in years imo. And I'm headed to Dallas tomorrow for Dead & Co. Would have gone today if I had remembered Heyman was already taking over and known it would be this good.
