I think it's all an act re: the injury. The ref went in for the hand squeeze and afterwards he signaled for the staged actor medical staff, never threw up the x...and then after another promo segment when they were all still laying out there, the camera cut right back to Xavier while they were "transferring" him to the stretcher. My guess is there's no way they get that close and show that if he truly had a thoracic spinal contusion.

That's basically in the range of "could be paralyzed or would take months to regain full feeling and motion at the very least" and any injury like that would have been dealt with completely differently.

Just watched it and great indeed. I had plans to attend Mania but they've fallen through within the last month unfortunately. Setting up to be a great one.
