Diego Luna says ANDOR Season 2 will make ROGUE ONE feel like a different movie

“I think people watching Rogue One, after watching season 2, are going to see a different film. Everything will be signified differently knowing what had to happen for K-2 to be there. It's going to… pic.twitter.com/j2d2673gOh

All I think about when I see anything related to that show is this meme. It'd probably been shared here before. Don't care.
“I was like, ‘[Tony Gilroy] can’t outdo [season one].’ I was again like, ‘It’s not going to be as good.’ But it’s fucking better. It’s so much better. It is,” Arjona insists. “What he has crafted and created is mind-blowing, and I can’t believe I got to be a part of it.” https://t.co/cV2GSSZBbS

That has to be the first canceled star wars on D+, right? Did any marvel get canceled? Is She Hulk being renewed?

F this. An original show that finally looked cinematic. Some acting was bad but the bad guy was awesome and it had some interesting places to go.
Big thumbs down.

It's really like I watched a completely separate show. I was in the entire time. Did it have things to improve, absolutely, but improve them in season 2. It honestly made me excited for SW for the first time in a while.
I wouldn't mind an incompetent and corrupt Jedi faction, but it was so poorly done.fig96 said:
I'm really forgiving, particularly with Star Wars, and I tried to give this show the benefit of the doubt and let it find its feet. But other than a couple fun action scenes it just wasn't good.
Characters flipped motivations on a dime, the story and dialogue were clunky, pacing was all over the place, and they made the Jedi incompetent and corrupt. Tons of discussion on this all through this thread if you want details.
You could maybe do a single Jedi, but making the entire Jedi order that way goes against everything we know about them. But you're right that the attempt at it here just didn't work either way.powerbelly said:I wouldn't mind an incompetent and corrupt Jedi faction, but it was so poorly done.fig96 said:

And if this forum almost universally agreed then it had to be pretty bad.gougler08 said:Jim01 said:

Seems like you are the only person on Texags that liked it

Maybe I missed the point, but I never understood why these Jedi "at their height" in the high republic were dumber and less skilled than those in the prequels and Clone Wars.
