That may have been someone's theory I floated - I vaguely remember discussing the idea - but I don't remember being adamant about it. With the way the development/production went, though, it very well could have been a reality at one point.

Going on Sunday with the wife. I told her only that we are going to see Star Wars, as I have never gotten her to sit still ling enough to watch TPM at home. She thinks we are going to see Episode IV.

A small theater nearby is showing the original trilogy on Saturday; taking everyone to see Jedi and getting them to rewatch New Hope and Empire before.
I last saw it in theater in the late 90's re-release.

My son really got into Jurassic Park late last year. He blazed through all the movies, and then he was humming the theme song around the house ALL. THE. TIME. It was driving me crazy.

Eventually, I was like, if you like theme songs, check these movies out. He's been a Star Wars fanatic ever since. We're going to see Phantom Menace on Friday. He's playing the Imperial March for his piano recital in a couple of weeks.

If any of you guys are sneakerheads, Adidas is releasing some Star Wars shoes on May 4th.

TPM might be the best big screen experience of the 8 post-ROTJ Star Wars movies. really vibrant colors, all new soundtrack with only a few callbacks to the OT, really incredible sound in the pod race and the final duel is just electrifying or, as my mom said when forced to watch it on VHS back in 2001, "Why are their laser blades different colors?"

Really excited to so see it Sunday

The extended look at the Acolyte attached to TPM leaked last night with the French premiere. Kudos to the director on really "getting" what the Force can be for a Jedi in a fight. need stuff, and Carrie-Ann Moss looks great as a jedi.
