Decided to catalog what I've read based on your list. More than I thought but still haven't read much of it. And I added some commentary.

Legends
Nothing

Rise of the Empire era - [All of this was garbage]
Lando Calrissian and the Mindharp of Sharu by L. Neil Smith
Lando Calrissian and the Flamewind of Oseon by L. Neil Smith
Lando Calrissian and the Starcave of ThonBoka by L. Neil Smith
Han Solo at Stars' End by Brian Daley
Han Solo's Revenge by Brian Daley
Han Solo and the Lost Legacy by Brian Daley

Rebellion era
Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope by Alan Dean Foster
[Reads like my 7th grade short story assignment. Most amateur thing I've possibly ever read. One of the few outliers where the movie is superior to the book and I would recommend NOT reading the book.]
Splinter of the Mind's Eye by Alan Dean Foster - [Garbage]
Shadows of the Empire by Steve Perry - [Recall this being ok but lot of years have passed]

New Republic era
Heir to the Empire by Timothy Zahn
Dark Force Rising by Timothy Zahn
The Last Command by Timothy Zahn
[Average to good. Started out meh but got better as it progressed and gave us two of the greatest characters in Star Wars: Karrde and Thrawn. Essentially a duology of one another...two sides of the same coin. Don't understand why Karrde has been ignored in canon. I guess there isn't enough room for him with Lando and Han already there?]

New Jedi Order era
Nothing

Legacy era
Nothing

I enjoyed Tales from Jabba's and Tales from Mos Eisley cantina. What is tales from New republic?

I would highly recommend Lost Stars, a story about 2 ace pilots from the same backwater. One fights for the Empire, the other for the rebellion. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The success of the Thrawn books and Shadows of the Empire are a big reason that Lucad kept making movies past the OT. Anything Star Wars youve liked since the early 90s got madr because of those books.

I owe Ahmed Best and George Lucas an apology… 23 years later and my 6 and 4 year old think Jar Jar is hysterical…

I guess they were always in it for the long game…

Seconded. Lost Stars is top 5 easy for me. It would make an awesome Disney+ series.

Tales of the Bounty Hunters are 5 novellas with each a tale of one of the BH after Han Solo.

Bossk's is about his ship getting compromised by 2 other BH
Dengar's is about him growing up as a rival swoop racer to Han
Zuckuss and 4Lom's is really interesting even if Lucasfilm keeps retconning which one is which.
IG-88's is beyond fascinating about sentinent droids on an epic scale.
Boba Fett's is a now non-canon early history of him as "Journeyman Protector Jaster Mereel" ,his first glimpse of Han Solo, and a post-Sarlaac escape confrontation with Solo when they are both feeling quite gold.

One of the best collections out there.

That was Slave Ship / Hard Merchandise series ... Boba teaming up with some other hunters to do things...

The Analyst spider-thing (assembler) name was Balancesheet... I liked him

Those were some confusing books. There were a few series where I really felt like the author had never seen Star Wars; just had a cool idea and forged it around the galaxy.

Yeah a bit… the ones that really confused me were Darksabre and Crystal Star… with some ghost dark Jedi Callysta that Luke fell in love with or something… a group of gammorreans that made a tribe on an abandoned Dreadnaught that was part of Palpatine's secret fleet… it's been 25-30 years since I read those but to my Jr High / HS self wasn't following very well

It can be defeated with horses and a bunch of Cessna-level spacecraft.

Somehow, Palpatine's secret first order fleet didn't survived

I still pretty much pretend the IG-88 story is still canon. I know it gets some flack for parts of it, but like you said it is a great concept.

The Zuckuss and 4-LOM story really rounds out those two characters.

I wish they would give us animated shorts of the various tales stories as filler D+ content.

Honestly is Disney just mined the EU for quick content for D+ it would be amazing.

There's a ton of the EU in Disney+, even in Andor, Mando, and the other stuff that is approved by the culturally elite.

Ig-88 vs. Palpatine is a scene I'd pay to see in real life!

Yeah. They are smuggling back in EU concepts into the new shows, but I wish they would make some of the old EU stuff wholesale.

I agree there is so much good stuff there. I think I'm more hyped to see Thrawn than basically any other thing that has come out on D+. I bet they'll just have him in there some, then give him his own prequel series if the performance hits.

I would love to see an animated version of the events of Darth Plagueis where Palpatine becomes a Sith and kills his master.

Would love any version of the Rogue Squadron books.

Darth Bane

Shatterpoint starring Mace WIndu

and of course, the Holy Grail, an animated or live action KOTOR.

Am I the only one that wants to see Talon Karrde canonized? His ship was called the "Wild Karrde" for f*'s sake.

This guy on YouTube has been animating and voicing Heir to the Empire for a couple of years down. Best we're going to get, but worth it if you love the Zahn books like we do.

I suppose I'm going to have to read those Zahn books again. It's been 20+ years and I barely remember Karrde, at all. Was he one of Luke's Jedi Council? Or did that come later in like the Legacy series?
The Porkchop Express

Kardde is a neutral smuggler chief who is the largest in the galaxy in the post-Jabba era. Mara Jade is his lieutenant as the novels begin. He and Thrawn are two sides of the same coin, obsessed with information. Mara's force abilities allow him to stumble upon Luke in his X-Wing after he's been nearly captured by Thrawn, putting hi in an unusual predicament of lying to just about everyone as he tries to figure out where the best profit lies.

He's a genius level smuggler but honor driven. That's why I referred to him as the other side of the coin of Thrawn. He's a fantastic character.

Only reason i can think he hasn't been pulled in is because we already have Lando, Han, and even Hondo Ohnaka so the Smuggler wiki for SW is a crowded space.

Don't get me started on Cad Bane....
