Also some extra interesting information about Mon Mothma's character from the actress herself.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, O'Reilly revealed that she went back and watched Caroline Blakiston's performance as Mothma after she landed the role in Revenge of the Sith. Whenever she returns to the role (she reprised the role in Rogue One and has also voiced the character in Star Wars Rebels), she studies Blakiston's performance when she delivers the famous line about the Bothans.

Quote:

I was always interested in her, and each time I go to play her, I go back to that scene.
You can see when Caroline does that in that scene, for me, there was always a pain at the heart of it. You could see that she was carrying a pain, and I was really curious about what that was. What has happened in this woman's life? What has it cost to be her? What are the sacrifices that she has had to make along the way to be that leader of a rebellion?
O'Reilly also speaks about what we'll see from the senator in Andor's first season. It seems we'll get a much greater look into who she is as a person, not just as a politician or Rebel leader.

Quote:

We really get to develop her as a character, and we get to learn about her not just as a senator, but as a woman. [We learn] what her life is like, what she has to wrestle with, what are the dangers to her life, what it costs to be her. Tony's writing is so intricate and so taut. It lives in this world of the spy genre, of a sociopolitical drama, and yet it's set within a Star Wars world. So it feels universal and intimate all at once.
We see her talking to senators, and then we meet her at home with her husband. We see the public and the private. We see her literally and figuratively take off her cloak and reveal herself as a woman in a way we've never seen before.
Feels like that's the first time we've heard that Mon Mothma is married.

Exactly. And literally every age group since at least the early '90s has had one of these high school shows, watched by both sexes.

There isn't really anything to report yet. They can learn about Sith Lord Pacey and be happy they missed it in real time.

I'm not a woman so I don't who Pacey from Dawson's Creek is.

Pacey is Luke McNamara

BTW, totally forgot Creed was played during that scene

I think my disappoint is nobody mentioned Pacey was Peter Bishop in Fringe.

TCTTS your next pitch should be an X-Files/Fringe show pitched in the Star Wars universe. A couple Jedi's as the Mulder/Scully archetype investigating strange events in the galaxy. If we wanted to be edgy it would be a couple of Sith's looking for more power pre-rule of two.

Again, if you think high-school-set shows are only for women, I don't know what to tell you. Not only did everyone I know in high school watch Dawson's Creek, but it also aired while I was in college, working for the football team, and I remember *football players* who watched it. 90210, Dawson's Creek, The O.C., Gossip Girl, Euphoria, etc... these types of shows have been airing for 30 years, and during that span I've known nearly as many guys watching them as women.

That's why Aggie Football went in the crapper. Guys watching The O.C. and Gossip Girl. They should have been watching Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee movies.

Hey, just because "everybody's doing it" does not make it good.

A lot of people watched Jersey Shore and Real Housewives. Want to cry/laugh emoji about people watching those too and tell us it's ok?

I need to tell my Mischa Barton story one of these days. The story isn't necessarily about her (rather, it involves her), but I worked with her once and she was very much her mopey Marissa character in real life.

On a random thread on F16 I gave my breakdown of the four main sex in the city characters and the resident gay dudes said I switched team. lol.
