It is because Carey Jones was also a special makeup effects/costume designer, so they got a 2 for 1 deal

Speaking of games, I've played entirely through KOTOR and did so mainly being a good guy and always had Jedi's as my extras except on Kasshyk….

Now on my second play through I'm already heavy on dark side and haven't even left Taris yet and am planning on going through the whole game with Hk-47 and Canderous as my extras….

For this week's ranking -- since Obi-Wan was voted the favorite Star Wars character by pretty much everyone who posted (in the wrong thread, my mistake)...

Post your top 5 Obi-Wan moments.

1. Defeating Maul - TPM

Not only the best single bit of fight choreogaphy in the saga, but I remember seeing Maul cut in half made quite the impression when I saw it in theaters. Still a badass moment.

2. "Hello there" - ROTS

I love how he jumps down to challenge Grievous with absolutely zero ****s given. Especially considering he was surrounded on all sides and could've been killed on the spot had they decided to engage.

3. Sacrifice - ANH

That look he shoots to Luke, then Vader, with that sly smile on his face, right before he gives up his life. He knows the tide has shifted in the galaxy, something nobody else knows yet.

4. "You were the chosen one!" - ROTS

Fairly self-explanatory. The climactic scene everyone had waited for.

5. Explaining the Force to Luke - ANH

This is pretty much the scene where the whole saga really kicks off. Hearing about the Force for the first time, about Luke's father, and the amazing John Williams score during his monologue.

Side-note: Even though it didn't crack the top 5 moments, AOTC is my overall favorite Obi-Wan movie. Love his mystery plot in that movie, his fight with Jango, chasing him through the asteroid field, and pretty much everything he does in this movie.

I forgot who posted it here a couple weeks ago, but the idea of Obi Wan seeing Luke & Leia together again and feeling he had completed his task has really stuck with me.

Saw a great post somewhere about #4 somewhere.

Some dude shoots Sith lightning, presumably for the first time in millennias, and definitely for the first time in Obi-Wan's life, and he stops that **** without hesitation or even an ounce of inconvenience.

Obi-Wan was a freaking badass in the prequels, which I honestly never considered as a possibility while originally watching the original trilogy.

1. Hello there to defeating General Grievous - Revenge of the Sith
2. Defeating Darth Maul - The Phantom Menace
3. Going head-to-head with Jango Fett on Kamino - Attack of the Clones
3. You were the chosen one! - Revenge of the Sith (there was real hurt on his face when he yells this at burned to a crisp Anakin)
4. Pulling back the hood to reveal his face - Star Wars
5. Diving out the window to take a ride on the droid over the streets of Coruscant - Attack of the Clones

One of the Legends Prequels novels has a conversation between Mace Windu and Obi-Wan where Windu calls Obi-Wan the greatest Master of the basic form of lightsaber combat, and says that all the other forms, including his own Vapaad, were created because of weaknesses in those Jedi's form or physiology or mindset - basically saying Obi-Wan is the greatest true combat Jedi with a lightsaber there is.

From a storytelling standpoint, they are giving a visual demonstration that Anakin is powerful but impetuous and arrogant while Obi-Wan is more mature and experienced. That's reinforced by the battle between Dooku and Yoda, and is one of the key setup incidents for Anakin's fall in Episode III.

But yeah, Obi-Wan is considered one of the greatest sword masters in Legends.

Thanks Obi... you would think this little nugget of information would have been useful to Luke when he was going to confront Palps. Instead Luke throws his lightsaber like he likes to do.

I wasn't really into the Lego games (I got the LOTR one on Wii and never finished it), but the reviews for this are pretty good, and it looks like everything has been greatly improved. (Not just visuals, but gameplay.)

I might grab this for Switch if it falls to $40.

The old LEGO Star Wars game was/is great. Might have to fire up the Wii and play it.
