It would be damn easy to do callbacks to the Clone Wars if this actually happens. Also, opens that series up to Ashoka appearances which might cause a Star Wars internet meltdown.

I'm rewatching the movies right now and am at the end of Phantom Menace. Yoda and Mace are talking about how there's always two Sith, a master and apprentice. When Mace asks which was killed, they panned over to Palpatine.

My question is, back then did the fandom know Palpatine was the Sith master? I was 9 when the movie came out so I have no idea.

If they could somehow pull off a live-action Luke in his 30s and 40s for the screen, a post-ROTJ "Indiana Skywalker"-esque series would be the most popular streaming series of all time...

Updated my rankings after thinking about Rise for a while. It belongs on the same tier as the other two sequels and Revenge of the Sith. The rankings on that tier are pretty interchangeable, each of those movies has the same score for me, each containing elements I love and hate.

Almost all of Star Wars is fine. I hope in the future we see it hit greatness again on the big screen, but I won't pretend to know what the next step should be... although planning out overarching story lines should probably be a top priority.

I would love it if they picked up from the ending of TLJ and had an alternative plot where Luke disappeared then his Xwing does too. He is then shown in a meditation position on tatoine. Then, picks up his light saber and gets in his x wing to go hunt down Palpatine because he was able to locate him due to the Snook/Kylo/Rey connection.

This would go a long way for me. I hate how they ruined Luke's character and want to see it redeemed. Just a fantasy ending to the Skywalker saga that actually involves a Skywalker.
