I'm actually kind of shocked he hasn't been offered a SW movie yet. Or, rather, I'm surprised that one hasn't yet been announced. I'm sure they've had talks, I guess it's just that Favreau has simply been too busy to lock anything down yet, between The Lion King and The Mandalorian.

It does look awful. The whole character is CGI'd, right?

Could they not fly in Ray Park and get him in the makeup? They could shoot the scene in an hour.

His scene is 1-1/2 minutes long. By your logic, Jabba the Hutt wasn't in the Phantom Menace, nor was Chewbacca in Revenge of the SIth.

I enjoyed Solo on the rewatch, but I'll admit to being bored when I saw it in the theater. While I really like the Maul character in the animated series and want to like him in Solo, I just cringe when I see the saber switch on... WTF dude.

100% chance it was added to 1) get a lightsaber in the movie, and 2) make sure the dummies knew it was Maul

For some reason I think Muck probably has a very disciplined, structured, fighting style, while BES, when pushed in to fight or flight mode, gains crazy rutard strength and goes bizerker mode.

The last time I got in a fight was with a drunk 25-year-old SMU frat boy who slapped my wife's ass as she walked by him in a bar. When she swore at him, he shoved her and she fell on the ground. I cracked the back of his head against the rail of the bar and knocked him unconscious. Had to spend $5,000 on a lawyer to keep myself from getting indicted on aggravated assault, greatly aided by the bartender's testimony and the bar's security footage.

I got nothing but love for BES. It's less than 1 month from the trailer, less than 2 months from the Mandalorian and 3 months from Episode IX. This is the golden age of TxAgs Star Wars.
