He's just trolling me now, because he knows more about the Boonta Eve pod race than anyone else, and knows that all the other racers are full grown adults whose species are genetically capable of racing the pods because of their size and dexterity. Anakin is a kid and he's keeping up with the adults of the other species because he's using the Force.

I feel like Obi-Wan on Mustfar trying to convince Anakin that Sheev is evil.

I'll be honest... I'm not the biggest fan of their directing style. Too much shaky cam and muted colors for my taste. I'd much rather have someone with a better eye so as to fully capture more of a Lawrence of Arabia vibe on Tatooine.

If I were them I'd do a complete 180 for a couple years and go back to directing AD and Community type shows

The term "Resistance" still bugs the crap out of me. "Rebellion" is such a stronger word. "Resistance" is almost passive.

It's interesting seeing those two gaps between trilogies. The first gap is quickly filling up, meanwhile, Mandalorian is all alone on the other side.

A lot of empty space to play with over there.

The great thing about Filoni is that he has such an extensive headcanon. He knows what all happens to these characters in broad strokes, even if it doesn't come to fruition on screen.
