I tried to casually stroll the wrong way at Disneyland's GE during the fireworks to see if I could peek around the bend towards the RotR area and made it about 7 feet before a Dis-Trooper asked if I needed assistance.

Booooooo...

Was looking at a trip to Disneyland in mid-November.
We'll be there in a little over 3 weeks. This news could go 2 ways, either those on the fence who haven't booked a trip yet will wait until it's open and then go, or say "screw it" and book a trip. Hoping for the former at this point. My understanding is that Galaxy's Edge crowds haven't been all that bad once the initial surge wore off.

A friend of mine went over the 4th and he was really surprised how minimal the crowds were. I think after the early surge it hasn't been too bad.

Definitely interested to hear your experience though.

Crap. We will be at WDW Thanksgiving week, and this is the last time we'll be going for the forseeable future.

On the plus side, for our next trip after grandkids have arrived and reached about 5-6 years of age, the crowds should have died way down (our married 27-year-old has not shown any interest in kids just yet).

Those Thanksgiving week crowds can be rough - make sure you get there as early as possible.

We took the kids out of school 3 days before T-giving break last year and had some really nice low crowd days at MK and HS in Orlando. Of course that's easy when they are young and before all the standardized testing starts. Hope you have an awesome time, though.

We did Thanksgiving back in 2013. Our youngest was in second grade, so we pulled her out on the Wednesday prior to Thanksgiving week and were in the parks until the day before turkey day. Even then we ran afoul of the Katy ISD attendance Nazis. Back then the district had class through Tuesday before Thanksgiving, so she missed a considerable amount of time.

This time the youngest will be in 8th grade, but we are only pulling her out on the Friday prior to Thanksgiving week. Now the district gives the entire week for Thanksgiving. I don't expect there will be a problem with school this time around.

The crowds at Disney, though, are concerning.

The animation/drawing style is reminiscent of Japanese manga/anime. When I saw that I thought wow those could be characters from Bleach.

Sorry really not relevant, but it's just odd since I probably haven't watched that show in a decade.

Saw this on reddit. The amount of work put into this is impressive.

Basically, this guy took all the final installments in each of the big franchises, calculated its increase/decrease from the previous installment, and then applied that percentage to Rise of Skywalker to get its potential box office gross. (Based on the performance of TLJ.)
