Random thought this morning. Is it correct to interpret that Anakin is using the force to control the direction of the droid and platform during the lava river scene in E3? I'd never thought about it before, but if so it's actually pretty cool and kind of impressive to be using the force to pseudo-levitate an object while also engaged in a lightsaber duel. The ****ing high ground still pisses me off though. Obi-Wan defeating Anakin would've been way more believable if Padme had showed back up at the last second and distracted him and Obi-Wan took the kill shot.

Serious question. They tend to hold onto that kind of stuff forever to eventually recycle or reboot.

But yes, it may eventually be disregarded. But for now, and the foreseeable future (20+ years) it is Pure Pachebel D major.

Rumor online that Solo reshoots about to take place and run several weeks into Feb. Any real legs to this story? Not a big deal or world is ending?

People on here have already taken the "no big deal, happens on every big movie" stance. I don't know much about how the sausage is made, but I do know that the RO reshoots included major plot changes, so I don't think we can be sure that it's no big deal.

what's the deal with a SOLO trailer, earlier it was reported it was the 12th. Now there are reports of reshoots instead. Perhaps SuperBowl weekend?

Getting into a time crunch to let the general public know this movie exists..

It could still be soon. Hard to fathom how any amount of reshoots could impact the ability of the studio to hash together a 90 second teaser. (Suicide Squad had a slick trailer and almost every scene of the actual movie was hot garbage.)

There were many shots in the trailers for Rogue One that were not in the movie, due to the reshoots. This could work the same.

Exactly. Reshoots would not affect a trailer at all. As for the 12th, I would have expected official word by now, but who knows. ESPN doesn't have any more playoff games, so it likely won't be tied to a football game unless it's the Super Bowl, but I have a feeling we're not going to have to wait another three weeks.

Yeah, except before that they both went toe-to-toe with their counterparts, and Obi-Wan left Anakin for dead, with his body scorched and dismembered. Not exactly the same thing Luke did. He ran off before trying to find Ben and stop the First Order from destroying too much.

It was mentioned earlier on the thread, but Rogue One's first trailer premiered on Good Morning America so it's possible they go that route again. But it does seem weird that there is no teaser for it yet, if it is actually going to air tomorrow.

Keep an eye out tonight. Think they dropped a 5 second tease for the Rogue One teaser the night before it premiered on GMA.
