I had a shipment a few weeks ago that arrived BEFORE I got the shipment notification.

I think this has been alluded to before, but I'm wondering why, in a series that has both British and American accents at what seems to be random, did John Boyega put on an American accent?

British was always looked upon as royalty i thought or of a more refined location. Boyega was american accent.

Because the other lead (Ridley) already had a British accent. And Boyega's American accent was either better than hers, or her character sounded better with the British accent. For an American-produced movie, it probably would have been kind of weird two have two British-sounding leads.

I thought that the Mon Calamari storyline was basically an excuse to show off Kit Fisto who was otherwise absolutely pointless, but supposedly great....

They touch on that during the documentary. IIRC, they basically just decided that the American accent suited the his role better than his native British accent.

Wal Mart price is $19.96 for the BD/DVD/Digital copy... not sure why they get to be 3 cents under others, but they are. They have the one I posted above as well as the BB-8 cover. Assuming they filled up the shelf last night - it was already half empty this morning.

I'm not trying to be the jerk that calls others out... but I was just looking at the copy I'm gonna buy later (basic Blu-Ray version) and it comes with a digital HD copy. So why were people buying this digitally last Thursday???

My reasoning was:


  • Because I didn't want to wait
  • Because I don't have a Blu-Ray player (or optical drive on my computer)
  • Because I'm going to get the box set after IX comes out
