I ran into Emma Stone at the tourist center booth/place on Liberty island.

I don't doubt that he told you saw her, or even that he thinks he saw her. I'm just having a really hard time picturing a set of circumstances where she would be there. Maybe she was going inception level incognito?

How old is he? Why didn't he say hello or ask for a picture? I damn sure would have.
quote:
It's Daisy f_cking Ridley. You get a gd picture, or thrown out of the place for asking.

one time I saw Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston at Olive Garden... they were going to town on the breadsticks.

Those weren't breadsticks.

Play any sabacc in the casino?
That sounds like a blast.

What's confusing to me is why they're casting now. The Han Solo spin-off doesn't hit 'til May 2018. Which means filming won't begin until 2017, and probably not 'til February or March of that year. So they're probably a year away from cameras even rolling. And it makes no sense to for Han to appear in Rogue One, considering how close it is in the timeline to Star Wars, not to mention the fact that it has long since wrapped filming.
So that got me thinking... is there any way we see a young Han Solo via flashbacks in Episode VIII? We know Rian Johnson is kind of marching to the beat of his own drum with this one, so some kind of break from the mold structurally wouldn't necessarily surprise me.

quote:I don't see a reason to include a flashback sequence of a young Han in VIII. When everything in the main episode stories is so connected to the Skywalker clan, I just don't see how it they could potentially get it to relate to the story. A flashback to the period between ROTJ and TFA seems more applicable, more specifically the last time Han saw Luke before he left.
