After my kid went back to bed, I found the Disney Channel promo. It looked more like a behind the scenes type of deal with some kid that I didn't recognize... I assume a Disney show actor. I doubt there is any new real footage, but I guess you never know.
If Disney is smart, which it obviously is, they'd play up Rey during the Girl Meets World special, since that target demographic must be overwhelmingly girls who could be an untapped market for the new movies.

Regardless, she wanted to watch Jar Jar and the big fish after her bath last night, so we were on the couch. We skipped ahead to the Jedi Council scene since her twin sister likes Yoda, and my wife, who thinks Star Wars is dumb, looked on in horror when my little Star Wars fan said, "Look Mommy, Mace Windu!"

I know this is probably completely off base and no where near true, but what of Luke is actually dead and the only time we see him is in some sort of flashback.
