I guess don't understand what you're getting at. I see dozens of threads like this - many way longer - every single day. And this one is about as well written/argued as possible, in pretty succinct fashion, IMO.
If you have to use an ellipsis to continue a tweet because you hit the word limit, IMO, you are using the wrong platform to try and discuss something. This guy essentially wrote a pretty well written opinion piece and then blasted it across 16 tweets. I just find that annoying.
Then you must not spend much time on Twitter. Because this is incredibly common. People use this exact format all the time when a formal article/blog post is too much and a single tweet or two isn't enough.
I spend enough time on twitter to know I find it annoying. Similar to how even though REM sold millions of records, I find their music annoying. I'm not sure why you are having such a difficult time with this.

Agreed. Abrams could solve/save a lot, but we'll have to see.
As for TFA, I don't really think it's a "mess." I just think it A) lacks context/simplicity as detailed in the tweet thread, and B) is honestly kind of boring in the second half, at least until Han dies. It's not bad at all, it just could have been so much better.

TFA had the feel and wonder of classic Star Wars, and the [everything else] of [generic scifi movie].
