This is going to be the biggest movie of all time. Absolutely no question.

Abrams + Star Wars is the perfect marriage. Based on that footage alone, he's bringing an energy to the franchise we've never seen before.

Looks like Oscar Isaac is playing an X-Wing pilot, btw. Wonder if that's why/how he eventually pilots the Falcon, or if that rumor was just bunk.

Empire eventually discontinued the use of clones, and I think that actor is in disguise and not a real storm trooper. Isn't he one of the leads, and supposedly a Jedi in the movie?

Yep, I noticed / recognized that right away. Not sure how much we can discuss here... might need to carry on deeper conversations on the spoilers thread.

Well, so far they struck GOLD. I totally geeked out, but my kids (10, 8, 4... the oldest two being girls) had me replay the trailer over 5 times. They absolutely LOVED that new droid and I absolutely loved everything else.

That chick is totally the new princess Leia for my son and young boys across the world... how cute/good looking is she!

That lightsaber is pretty cool.

Fave shot though was probably the x wings skimming across the lake.

Also I have my reservations about the updated stormtrooper helmet. But....in JJ I trust. The feel and tone was right on that.

Also I love how it wasn't "directed by JJ Abrams" anywhere. Its fking star wars, which is bigger than any one man.

I think the guy talking in the trailer is Max von Sydow.

I'm not sure I like a cross hilt on a light saber. It seems like it would limit your motion since those little light hilts could hurt you.
