Bad take on Clone Wars. I'm not sure if you watched the whole series but overall it was pretty badass and ties directly into the Skywalker Saga. So much so that many consider it the real Clone Wars chapter of that saga. There were some individually bad episodes but it also gave you one of the greatest arcs in Star Wars in the final season.

Filoni being in charge is not a good thing IMO. He makes good episodes of cartoons but has floundered outside of that.

Damn - getting burned by internal sources right off the bat.
This feels like it could easily be office politics/dynamics of people who still work there but were loyal to Kennedy.

I'm sure it's possible he wasn't fully on board with the concept, but the finished product there's no way he "disliked" it.
In that first video TC posted, I take offense to Filoni seemingly comparing Cassian Andor's struggle with Sabine's ultimately absurd retconned plot line of becoming a Jedi. Filoni had nothing to do with the former but the latter was his decision and it was stupid. He needs to do better. Maybe there is more context there I'm missing though.

Exactly! Seems like it took a season or 2 for Clones to really hit its stride, but my goodness, those last 2-3 seasons were outstanding.
I also really enjoyed Bad Batch.

It had some of the most high-concept episodes about the clones post-ROTS. When Crosshair finally breaks is premium TV regardless of format.
The main animated shows are by far the best story telling post the original trilogy.
Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor are great games as well.

Bad Batch is also the bridge story for the Palp clone project. It makes it clear he was doing this well before the end of the Empire. He wanted a clone to preserve the Force so he could carry on forever. And the BB destroyed the project.

Bad Batch fan chiming in, took me way too long to get around to it and it's so good.
I'd also submit that the original 2D Clone Wars animated series by Genndy Tartakovsky is still some of the best and most cinematic Star Wars storytelling put on screen.

Don't call it a comeback.
I've watched the first few episodes of Bad Batch. I liked it other than the highly annoying, androgynous Omega character. Seems totally shoehorned in but I plan to pick it back up if/when I resume my Disney sub.

For me, Rogue One is better than Return of the Jedi, making it the third best Star Wars film.

was thinking about Andor this morning. Does anyone besides me absolutely love how they worked the force sensitive healer into the 2nd season? Growing up watching the originals it seemed like everyone at least knew someone who had connection to and ability with the force. Han's throw away line about hokey religion didn't bring home to me how unusual it would be for them to have anything but legends and stories about jedi. But Andor really brought that to the fore at least for me.
