Not to go all Redstone, but I've actually had a bootleg copy for months now, from back when it first leaked at one of those conventions, I can't remember which. That said, that one cuts off/doesn't show the whole thing, whereas this one does. So this one is either the same recording, and plays all the way through now, or it's a brand new bootleg leak (though it's the same trailer for sure). Either way, yeah, it's incredible. Not a ton of dialogue, but there are so many incredible shots, multiple new characters, and it really does feel bigger than last season.

What is it about your psychological makeup, to where if you're not goading me, you always have to be taking cheap shots at someone. I just find it impossible to believe you're this unaware of how relentlessly, disturbingly obsessive you come across to multiple posters on this board. It's like you literally cannot help yourself.

I think the story has potential (story, not script). IMO, the execution has been very bad. Acting, dialogue, sets, costumes - all bad.

The "woke" complaints are idiotic as they normally are.

My opinion after 4 episodes is "wasted potential." Maybe there is a version of the story that is a lot smoother and someone said "That's gonna be way too long, it has to fit in 8 short episodes." IDK

So far….after BACKING OUT the opening and closing credits we've had approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes of "story."

There's been 3Jedi killed that we knew absolutely nothing about….one of them theWooki Jedi who we didn't get to see do anything cool and was killed off screen….

And 2 fights….+1 bug zapper kill….

All else has been filler dialogue and confusing and horribly acted flashbacks…..

It's not good…..

It's not great. Pacing is terrible. Dialogue is meh. Characters do seemingly dumb things to advance plot. The musical number in episode 3 was incredibly cringe. In all honesty it's probably somewhere around BoBF or Kenobi and on track to be lower, but we'll have to see the last half first.

I was the biggest Star Wars nerd as a kid, and that sustained me through some pretty dreadful movies and shows, but there have been so many misses lately that I'm wary of Star Wars now. I enjoy compelling stories. And when they seem to mail it in on the storytelling, that's just so disappointing.

CGI/deep fakes/de-aging don't work for me. If you want to tell a story with Luke, Han, Leia, or anyone from the original trilogies, just re-cast them with godod actors.

Pretty fair take. I thought the end of ep 4 gave me something intriguing, but the pacing overall has been really off.
