Have you listened to any of his and Tom Welling's Smallville rewatch podcast? His views as someone who never watched the show, and only read the scenes he was in, are amazing.

I absolutely cannot stand that digital, sterile look these shows have had.
But the prequels...

Yes but they both look crappy compared to the film look of the old trilogy or the sequel trilogy.

Man that is HYPE. Can't wait for it. Love seeing the Rebels-style Grand Inquisitor back in action.

Afraid I am going to regret this, but I am super hyped for this. Like at a 10. Maybe even an 11.

I forgot about Barriss. Nice to see a couple of the other inquisitors we already know, too.

Do we think Morgan can actually deflect blaster bolts with that staff? I know she has some force capability, but still...

Anyway, that looks pretty cool. It's going to be annoying that it's so short.

(btw, was the 2nd set of Visions any good?)

The one last year with Yaddle/Dooku and Ahsoka/Anakin was brilliant. These tight little arcs are some of their best work. I think Thrawn might be wearing his black uniform from Zahn's latest books in those early scenes, but it's too dark to tell.

I liked the Tales of the Jedi series. The Dooku episodes really fleshed out his character. Solid ground rule double.

It is just hard to believe that Star Wars will hit a grand slam. But I am feeling hyped that they will.

Visions S2 was like the first: hit or miss. Worth putting on in the background while you're working.

Actual words ghostwritten by me that are now in a book that has been published and now lives on this planet forever.

Even more bizarre is that the famous white paper mentioned above was published under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto, who is not a real person. A few people have claimed to be its author over the years to try and get a big dose of the Bitcoin empire, but all have been discredited. Despite the fact that the technology didn't have an actual author, a group decided to go ahead and implement it anyway, which most conspiracy theorists would have a panic attack over. Because honestly, it sort of sounds like the time in Star Wars when the Jedi decided to fight alongside an army of clones when nobody knew who actually decided to place an order to create them. Fast forward a few years, and suddenly the egg was on a lot of Jedi faces when those same clones were gunning them down per the secret orders of the Emperor.

But I digress.

not to mention that only Andor has had any real story or emotional weight or relevance to it and yet it is entirely skippable if you choose to not watch it.

I don't really understand why the Republic had essentially no army available to go against them trade federation.

Before that. The war still has to be fought.

Based on the original Clone Wars anime, I think Mace Windu could've single-handedly taken down entire droid battalions at a time.

Likely the same for Yoda and Anakin.

because of plot force and it sounds poetic - a millennia of peace.

They had an army until about 1000 BBY when the last Jedi/Sith war occurred and because the Sith were "defeated" they no longer needed an army, and the Jedi assumed the role as peacekeepers.

while there were skirmishes between planets and systems, they were generally resolved pretty quickly. It was not until the Trade Separatists showed up that it became something that impacted a larger part of the galaxy, requiring an army.
