Very good episode. Glad to see Lewis go that way, thought I doubt the storyline isn't completely gone. I imagine his girlfriend/Dexter's babysitter starts to suspect something when Lewis just disappears. I see Quinn dying soon, that guy is a moron getting in over his head with the stripper/Russian or whatever drug guys.

Curious how much of a roll the guy with the bull mask plays. I think he will be gone the next 1-2 episodes.

Overall, I like that this episode isn't Dexter vs. 1 bad guy.

Good episode besides this show's dumb unbelievable plot holes like letting a confessed murderer walk because he didn't say he understood his rights on camera. No way a judge in a million years lets a murderer walk scot free with that much evidence. They would be crucified by the media, the police, and in the next election. They had to find some way for Dexter to get another shot at killing Speltzer though.

Loved the maze scene with Dexter. Busted out laughing at Dexter's line about not running.....unless there is a bull chasing him with an ax. His kill scene freak out was great too. I thought he was goin to burn him alive.

Can't wait for the Dexter/Pullo showdown and more of the hottie from Chuck.

Great episode, I'm liking this season a lot so far. The maze scene to kill room had me on the edge of my seat.

So I am finally caught up on the entire series after mowing thru Seasons 1 thru 6 over the past month. Really entertaining show, even with the insane amount of deux ex machina used. Like this season so far especially.

I won't get into all the times Harrison has been completely forgotten in terms of who is supposed to be watching him (the biggest to me being when Batista's sister was on a date with Louis and Dexter was in the process of being drowned at sea by Travis, but I digress), but here is one of my biggest pet peeves in all 7 seasons:

In Season 5, Dexter has the one dude wrapped up in plastic sheeting inside an RV with a "killing room" set-up at a rest stop place. Dexter then gets a call from Lumen that she needs his help in killing the dentist guy. So Dexter throws the guy wrapped in plastic into the back of his car and takes off. Well what the hell happened to the RV? No mention of how he got it, or where it came from, and no mention of Dexter ever going back to remove that RV and killing room from that rest stop.

Like I said, deux ex machina overload in this show, but still fun nonetheless.

Love dexter but running side by side with homeland is hurting it. Makes dexter look dumb.

But then I have to remember homeland is a phenomenal show and dexter is still a great show.

Is that your only complaint with season 5??

Awesome season so far. Loved the roidrage killer and his mazes. These writers have some messed-up minds...

I doubt that Quinn will survive this season.

It's too bad that Dexter isn't Carl from the Walking Dead's father. Then he wouldn't give a sh*t about him always running off and not knowing where he is.

Good episode. I wonder if the storyline is really over with the Kashka boss. Quinn is definitely dying before this season ends.

I imagine Pullo makes an appearance with 2-3 episodes left after this mid season arc with the good looking blonde killer wraps up.

They'll then probably have some type of breakthrough with LaGuerta and, possibly Batista's cases, outside investigations into Mike Anderson's killer and the Bay Harbor Butcher that begins to lead to Dexter and/or Deb in the season finale to set up a final season to determine Dexter's ultimate fate.

That's my prediction anyways. I also agree Quinn is dead before the season is done. Good episode. Would say great episode but, as someone has stated on this or the other thread, it has really hurt Dexter's status IMO having to precede Homeland, even though this has been the best Dexter season since Season 4, because that show is on another level right now.

Dexter was visibly shaken while talking with Issac. I don't know if anyone else caught Dexter's eye and Issac's eye would always line up with one another in the respective reflection of the glass (go back and see for yourself if you don't understand). Playing on the they are one in the same arc maybe?

Issac is becoming one of my favorite villains to ever be on Dexter. Bond-esque.

Rewatched this past episode. I keep waiting for Deb to confront Dexter about Doakes. Why wouldn't she assume that Dexter killed Doakes to cover his tracks? She's fine with Dexter killing murderers but a fellow cop and her former partner? No way. I know Dexter will explain it away with Lila's involvement, but I want a scene where Deb at least brings it up at some point.

Why would Dexter think Isaac would just drop his vendetta against Dexter??? Isaac has connections to the outside and could just order one of his hitmen to take out Dexter. I know it was a plot device to set up that awesome face-to-face scene, but IMO it was also some poor writing/plot

I don't think Isaac is going to send someone to kill Dexter (especially since he knows Dex is smarter and more resourceful than the average mob victim). He talked about this all being very personal and doubt he'd let anyone else but himself do the deed.

However, I don't believe that Isaac is out of the storyline just yet.

I feel like they've looked at Dexter from almost every angle now. It's getting a little repetitive, no?

I loved the first season and the John Lithgow run but I wonder how many more episodes the writers have in them?

Legit episode, she's hot!

Dexter not killing her when he had the chance (a la Trinity) will surely come back to haunt him. Solid episode.

Based on next week's previews, it's not going to turn out well with the girl.

And Quinn is not going to last much longer.

I hope that was some good puzzy. Now, 2 people know who he is (not to mention a crime sydicate).
