OK, so I'm guessing that Issac gets out, sees Dexter with Hannah and decides to kill her just to mess with Dexter. Deb finds out that Dex fudged his report to hide Hannah's involvement in the old murders and then comes unglued blaming him for her disappearance.

Why would Isaac immobilize the arm to prevent him from pulling out a cell phone? I think the two events are mutually exclusive. He immobilized him/took the shiv, and also happened to have a phone that he was shown using because he realized that the situation at the prison was starting to escalate and he needed to get out quickly.

Or did he grab/break the wrist simply to steal the phone?

I just can't imagine a combative inmate coming up to threaten Isaac holding a cell phone in his hand.

Found the episode online and rewatched the scene.

He leaves the table with the object in his right hand. Camera stays on the Colombian wincing on the table as Isaac leaves the frame.

New camera angle shows Isaac walking along the fence and reaches into his shirt near his belly and pulls out a phone. He makes the call to his people using speed dial.

The speed dial pretty much tells me that the phone was his. Combined with the fact that the Colombian says "You killed three of my boys smart---, you're not going to sound so smart when you're bleeding like a stuck pig" while his boys were guarding the openings in the fence pretty much tells me that he was there to stab Isaac. So I do believe it was a shiv.

yea, I rewound and watched that a few times, Ill admit that Im pathetic. She is so just ******* hot.

I was pretty underwhelmed by this episode.

i can't believe the season is already half over!

I don't think that was the Marina log. I could have sworn I saw Masuka & Deb's name on the list too. With Deb's name right above or below Dexters. Which makes me wonder if her 'aha' moment was seeing Deb, not Dexter. Since Deb was the one trying to convince her to drop the Bay Harbour Butcher thing.

So what is the significance of the list then? I see several character names on there.

Just double checked.

The first list she was looking at was Dade County Baot Registrations.
Only showed 4 names I could see, Kevin Bovender, Samantha Bowdry, and Hugo Bowerman and Lee Bowers.

Then she randomly hops over to a list of employees. A few have check marks by thier names, Lee Bowers (Robery Detective) on the list, but check mark just above his name, not by it. Then she scrolls down to Dexter's name with a check mark.

I'm assuming she's trying to piece together Lundy's files. Saw Lee Bowers name on the DMV list, and then hopped over to the employee list trying to figure out what all the employees with checks by thier names have in common. She got down to Dexter's name, who she knows has a boat, and stopped because she realized that was evidently not the connection since Bowers also had a boat, but didn't have a check.


Could be totally wrong, but just my observations based on the information given.

And dexter has a check next to his name. The plot thickens...

I'm not sure that tells us anything. We don't know what the reference is or why they're checked. For all we know the checks could be people already eliminated as suspects.

Look at it this way. Lundy was a **** ton smarter than LaGuerta and she's blindly trying to make sense of his files. Dumb ***** ain't ever gonna figure that **** out.

It's Dexter, so they don't give a **** about a super serial killer hunting genius not figuring it out, they'll likely draw a cartoon light bulb over LaGuerta next episode.

I'm so sick of her. She's pointless. This season has been a bit of a struggle. I hope Dexter's first ever pleasure kill not based on his code is LaGuerta.

My memory may be failing me but I think the redneck bathroom kill was the beginning of season 5.

I really enjoyed this episode overall but I have to once again say I hate Deb. I think a lot of it is the actress, but jeez everything single thing about her annoys me.

this season is just annoying

I still like the season, it just seems like they're spacing out the side plots in an odd way. I hope that ****'s about to kick off though.

Also, Dexter reminds me of House in that they should have been wrapped up in about five seasons. I really like the shows, but stretching material for eight seasons is making the show bland.

What do yall think ends up happening with Hannah? I actually really like her character and how she influences Dexter (not just cause she is crazy hot).
