Also, "Dancer, TX" was filmed on a girls family's ranch from A&M. I think the second biggest ranch in TX after the King Ranch

Rushmore was filmed at St. John's School in Houston at Buffalo Speedway and Westheimer.

Bottle Rocket was filmed in Dallas at St. Marks's School and various spots off the Tollroad and other locations near Deep Ellum.

The Chase with Charlie Sheen was filmed on a unopened stretch of 290 in Houston back in 1994 I recall.

"Flesh and Bones' was also filmed in Big Lake and Stanton. "The Rookie", which was set in Big Lake, was filmed in Thorndale.

Too many movies filmed in Texas to name them all. "Dancer, Tx" was filmed in Ft. Davis and Marfa. The original "Andromeda Strain" was partly filmed in Marfa.

Many filmed in San Antonio. "Blank Check", "Miss Congeniality"

The Blank Check house, however, is in Austin.

I believe Robert Rodriguez has his studio Troublemaker studios right outside of Austin. I think that is where they filmed all the Spy Kids movies.

RR is probably the most famous UTSA grad.
