I read that Pure Country was filmed primarily near Waco and it got me thinking. What other good movies were filmed in Texas?

1. Nearly all of Dazed and Confused was filmed in Austin. The highschool was in Georgtown

2. Office Space was filmed in Austin

3. Dr.T and The Women - filmed in Dallas

What else?

At least part of Office Space was filmed in Dallas. Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought most of it was filmed there.

Part of "Flesh and Bone" was filmed at the Mustang Mott store between Cuero and Westhoff on U.S. 87.

Revenge of the Nerds: No. It's in IMDB, but it was not.

Office Space: The opening scene is 635 at the Tollway. They had a really bad interchange where 3 lanes had to merge at the same place and there was always a backup. They have since fixed that. That was the only scene.

Courage Under Fire: All the military base scenes were filmed at the Gary Job Corps Center. Many of the extras were CT's.

Texas recently passed a tax break that is equal to the one in Louisiana. More and more movies will be filmed in Texas, especially low budget.

Idiocracy was filmed in Austin. The opening scenes at the military base were filmed at the Gary Job Corps Center.

Much of the movie 8 Seconds was in Texas (San Antonio, Helotes, Seguin).

Also, the beginning of the first X Files movie was in downtown Dallas.

the junior high scenes were filmed in Georgetown, and the HS scenes were filmed at either Bedichek middle school, or Travis High School...can't remember which one.

I am from Cuero. I have never heard of this movie.

According to IMDB all the filming locations are in Texas so im not doubting you, just saying.

Please please please give me a map quest location of these waterfalls. They have driven me crazy ever since I saw them in that movie as a kid that I have tried to locate them since everytime I went with my family downtown for the Astros or something.

The Legend of Billie Jean was shot in Corpus Christi.

Next time you watch the credits, it does not say anything about College Station.
It would be absurd for them to leave the Univ of Arizona and go to College Station.

Nope, it was mostly San Antonio.
