I'm very happy with the performance of Staff lately.

The last few threads I have voted down have been pulled or edited quite quickly, so they practice what they preach about letting "you, the user, have a voice" in how the site operates.

Very nicely done and very professional and living up to their word.

After 3 emails to the moderators, admin and Brandon asking why a post got edited and then another thread completely deleted and a final ban, I got an answer from Brandon himself. While I appreciated him responding to me, it certainly didn't answer the selective nature of the moderation. Sure would be nice to have some guidelines. I'd been on here for 10 years and was accused of hijacking this thread http://texags.com/main/forum.reply.asp?topic_id=2157468&forum_id=16&page=last#r32755720. In my 10 years, I'd never even received a warning that I wasn't playing nice until this. You'll notice that another 10 year long poster said that I wasn't hijacking anything. I do admit the that thread that got deleted was deliberately over the line as I was still pissed about the selective censorship.

I was thinking about this the other day: Why does a new BoB account get perma banned right away when a sock of his shows up but when a lexag sock is made (and staff knows its lex) why do they let her stick around? There was also some guy on the football board this summer, djtexag, who got the perma ban, and every time he created a new account he got it again. Are there varying levels of the perma ban based on the offense? Or are the lex threads your favorite thing in the world? Riddle me that one staff.

The best post in the long history of my millennial doppleganger, txagfred04, was after he had been issued a few Staff edits/warnings on a couple of his posts.

At some point, Staff said something like "If you have questions about moderation, please pose them to us in an email."

Millennial fred replied with "WHAT ****ING GOOD WOULD THAT DO???!!!"

That is a complaint I have seen posted often.

Lex doesn't have a history of having owned/started/whatever a similar site for a rival school, she never got banned for making a comment about wanting to put her tongue up the backside of Raquel Welch, and she hasn't posted pics of possibly underage females.



Oh, and inconsistent Staff is inconsistent.

lex porn blasted with some very explicit pics of pornographic actresses whose age is not certain, then under a different name posted pics of her own naked breasts. bob posted one pic of a mature looking teenage girl in her underwear. there was some hot 16 or 17 year old that married some actor not too long ago and i remember seeing pics of her in her underwear and/or swimsuit posted on here without any bannings resulting, much less a perma.

I was just reading over the User Agreement, and as I find some of it hilariously ironical, the very last line was the best and I had to share:
