Of course it happens to us frequently but got ant funny / amazing ones?

We were in our seats at an Aggie football game in the middle of a row and the guy behind us went to get drinks for his family. I said to my wife, " Watch this, he's gonna come back and spill his drinks on somebody"

Sure enough, he comes back with 5 large cokes, barely balanced in a carry all. No lids. Fortunately for us, just before he walked behind us, he stumbled and spilled all 5 not only on our friends next to us but also on the two rows in front of them. Dude took out about 7 people.

My stomach ached from the suppressed laughter. Think how sticky all those Ags were in the 90 degree hear for the next 3 hours…

This happens in traffic a lot. "Oh man, this guy is gonna do something stupid."

Not sure how much of this is clairvoyance or just living in San Antonio.

Stumbling out of the Dixie Chicken circa 1989-90 one night. We are walking down the sidewalk toward Boyett street by the 7-11. A white RX-7 came flying around the corner off of University Avenue and hits a parked car. I tell my friend, "I bet that SOB tries to drive off."

Sure enough, the reverse lights come on. The car backs up and drives away, but not before I got the LP. I went to the pay phone at the 7-11 and report a hit and run along with a description of the car and LP. Two months later I got a supeona from CSPD to appear at night court where the driver plead no contest

In San Antonio, stupid driving is the norm, unfortunately. I am teaching my teenager to drive, and every time we go out I have to point out about half-dozen illegal things the OTHER drivers are doing

When I taught my kids, I had two sayings that they heard a lot:

"Having the 'Right of Way' doesn't matter when you are laying in a hospital bed"

"Always assume that everybody else on the road is an idiot and plan accordingly"

Surprising thing here to me is a guy going to get 5 large drinks during a game. There is no going to the concession stand during a game - AT ALL. That's what halftime is for.

If the wife and kids are so desperate for an overpriced drink, they can go get them themselves.

( I personally never get any concession food or at Kyle. The concessions and their operations are stinking awful and an embarrassment to the University)

When the Oilers were up their maximum points at that Buffalo playoff game, I actually thought and/or said "It's not over yet". "If Buffalo doesn't score a touchdown on this possession then it's over" They scored a touchdown. Then I said "As long as the Oilers run some clock and don't make a turnover, it's over" Oilers made a turnover. And the rest is history. Honest truth. I never thought at any time we had that game put away. Battered Oilers Syndrome.

Aggie baseball 1995. We ended the season with the 3-game series against t.u. at Disch-Faulk Stadium. t.u. had already beaten us Friday and Saturday. A bunch of us from the CCAMC went to the Sunday game. A teasipper carrying a broom walked in front of us and waved to broom at us. I quietly said to a couple of my Aggie friends, "He is going to look funny with that broom sticking out of his ass."

Aggies went on to win 25-7. Found out the Disch-Faulk scoreboard is not configured to show more that 20 total runs. I I think some of those balls John Curl hit landed in Pflugerville.

I was about to board a flight in Frankfurt, Germany. Non stop Frankfurt to IAH. 10 hour flight. I see a man pre-boarding, In a wheelchair, on supplemental oxygen, looking like he is in complete liver failure.

I say to my wife, this is not going to end well.

Sure enough, 2 hours from Houston and we are performing CPR on said individual. He did not make it.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But, it's still on the list.

I asked the Flight attendant if we were diverting. She said the Captain determined it would be quicker to go straight into Houston.

What do they do with a body that dies mid-flight? Gotta be some kind of protocol. They don't just cover it, right?
