No but ….
My last name is not common. Way back in the day they used to put your test grades on that green and white computer paper and tape it to the wall in large chemistry classes, you know the classes that have about nine sections with maybe 110 people in each section.
I didn't really pay attention to what my section was just of course what day of the week I went. I was pretty sure that I had scored a middle to high "A" on a chemistry test. I scanned the papers and I found my last name and I made like a 67. I knew it was a mistake, but I thought I simply got off track on the scantron. How in the world was I going to convince the professor?
In disbelief, I looked again and there it was a 67.
Last name, first name.
On the third look it was a different first name. I found my section. What makes this personally interesting is that I met someone with my same last name who was a client and I told them about this story and turns out it was her brother. I looked him up in the association, and he was the right age and had a major that would have put him in that class. He graduated and probably has made a lot more money than me, but damn him for scaring the hell out of me!
