I just assumed all the performers that have people clutching their pearls were just average French people going about their day. Paris is basically the capital from the hunger games as far as I know.

Without the dirty russkies to root against, it's lost something. There's always the dirty chinese to root against, but I mostly just feel bad for their athletes. Better than making iphones 14 hours per day, but seems like they are grown in a lab and have to be constantly under duress to succeed or end up at the iPhone plant

Do we not claim Casey Kaufhold? Looks like she was in College Station...at least for a short time. But I didn't see her mentioned in any of the "Aggies in the Olympics" lists. World ranked #1 female archer, now moving into the medal rounds of the Mixed Team event.

I remember back when I was a student in the late 70's, A&M had a recent gold medal winning archer, and he came to our PE class for a demonstration.

He shot a bullseye, then split that arrow with a second on, then split that second arrow with a third arrow.

Pretty impressive, I must say.
