Some bad news out of Paris. There was a coordinated attack on the rail lines just ahead of the opening ceremony. Mostly just a massive inconvenience to a lot of people. But it just speaks to how hard it is to secure these games with everything going on.

That was awesome. The boats, the performances scattered throughout the city, incorporating their art and monuments. I love what they did with the cauldron. And Celine Dion had me weeping.
