i was a brat when i was a kid. think i'll send mom flowers today.

One time, I asked for a Dr. Peter Venkman action figure. I got it, but it was one of the weird ones, like scumba-venkman or something. I threw it across the room and yelled "THAT'S THE WRONG PETER DR. VENKMAN" and my dad slapped me off the chair. All on video that I get to relive all the time.

Its pretty common to do that as a prank, fill it with books or something. On the other hand, I've seen several bidding wars on ebay for consoles that clearly say "THIS IS A BOX ONLY, NOT THE CONSOLE" and the bids will be over $500. I think it was a prank just by the reactions from the dad.

I never would have thrown it but definitely would have been mad as a kid.

It's messed up for sure, and the kid definitely lacks discipline to take it that far. Both in the wrong.
