I kinda like Payne for it again. Didn't fill up the stat sheet, but set the physical tone. Had three blocks. Maybe Garcia as honorable mention.

Give me McDermott. 13 really solid minutes, 3-4 from the line, 7 boards (4 offensive) and some really nice post to post passes.
Yeah it was nice to see the young guys replicate the same level of intensity and physicality from the older guys! I know we have ton to replace next year, but a strong foundation has been set!

No one stood out to me. Noticed Phelps getting steals.

Welcher's 3s in the first half really set the tone of the game. But McDermott had huge minutes after Coleman got hurt and Washington was in foul trouble. He showed real promise.
Zhu was active on the boards and shot really well too

Mistake.
I'd give it to McDermott. He came in and acted like he belonged with the starting unit. Pulled down 7 rebounds (3 offensive) and made a lot of good plays with two nice assists. Great stat line for 13 minutes played.
I wasn't trying to be a jerk- but with 2 people posting it, I was afraid it was the new "vore." I had season tix in Lincoln for a few of the years Wilcher was there and am rooting for him to keeping filling his role.

My fav sequence was the turn over, steal, turn over, steal and score. He came off the floor after that and Buzz said something to him that made him crack up laughing. Would like to have heard that convo.
I think y'all are missing the obvious here. For me it was the young man that played the national anthem and Buzz's Bunch.
Phelps had some interesting DAWG characteristics. Wouldn't have called him one a month ago but the whole team seems to play with more confidence when he's on the floor.
Was the best overall team effort I have seen in awhile. Wilcher showed me his ability to supercharge the offense tho so I'm gonna go with him. Very pleasantly surprised with what I saw from McDermott as well.
Wilcher is back up over 39% from 3. I was glad to see him finally start cutting them loose yesterday. His three point rate has needed to go up, he's not good enough at everything else to be out there not shooting. All time splashing of a heat check was definitely a DAWG play even if he's not really a DAWG.

My vote is for the 12 headed TEAM DAWG where every head scored and played at least 5 min,

Pretty impressive. Can't recall the last time we had one of those.
However, sloppy play and turnovers were still an issue as well with Phelps.
It's ACU. Come on guys?! Is it really possible to have a DAWG in a game you win by 40?
