I actually chose lamb on my recent flight. I figured the combination of lamb as airplane food might be the greatest risk in the history of mankind. I couldn't forego the opportunity. They obviously do it better than we do here.

I don't notice because I don't give a **** what other people are wearing. Seriously, why do you care?

I don't care what other people wear as long as they are wearing actual clothes. I mean that. I truly don't care what style of dress anyone else's chooses and I hate the very concept of fashion, but I know what pajamas are and what actual clothing is and if you choose to not get dressed to go out in public then you are profiled as lazy pathetic trash.

I care about what people wear on a plane because I'm stuck in a tiny metal tube packed in like sardines with them. Pajamas and bare feet are just gross. Wear it to wal mart all you want but have some respect for other people you're crammed in next to on a plane.

It pisses me off when people SLEEP in pajama pants. Eff, man, they're pants! How do you sleep in pants? What's next? Sleeping in jeans? Khakis? Suits?

Look, put on some boxers or panties, whichever is sex appropriate, a skimpy shirt if you're woman, and crawl under the covers.

Nobody sleeps comfortably in long pants of any kind.

It grosses me out. That's literally the only reason I care. If you don't, good for you. Agree to disagree.

I've flown many hours with flip flops and never had them snag in the pedals. Good enough for the pilot, good enough for the px.

This fashion trend is starting to show at the gym as well.

I always wear my union suit to fly. Butt flap buttoned, of course.

It's a result of the American quest for absolute zero effort living. It's also a result of a general lack of respect for others around you.

It's a PITA, so I'm not going to brush my hair or get properly dressed. Once I'm at the airport, I'll just look at my cell phone and not acknowledge anyone else. None of you matter. That's why I'm sitting in one chair, saving a second, and have my sh** in a third.

EDIT - Before the days of having to remove my shoes, belt, etc, I'd wear a nice shirt, shoes, and khakis when flying. Now I generally wear a tshirt, blue jeans (no belt), and tennis shoes that are easy to take on/off. But as other posters have pointed out, people aren't just at airports in jammies and house shoes. The security line stripping and feel down aren't the reason for this.

That is the way to go! Wished I worked in the medical field so I could wear scrubs everywhere. Better than PJs.

On the other hand, the flight attendant ranks finally seem to be cycling. The cranky old canklesaurauses that used to patrol the aisles with their drink carts and $7 cans of miller lite have given way to a younger generation that actually includes some attractive females.

Do'n't care what you wear; damn sure care how you smell or "other" hygiene.. And it's become a problem

My ex refused to travel with anyone who wasn't dressed appropriately (business casual or nicer, per his own definition), so I got in the habit of dressing up years ago. I was never a pajama traveler anyway, but I will say there is a marked difference in how the FAs treat you if you're slightly dressed up vs wearing jeans and a t-shirt or whatever. This seems to be especially true for my kid - when I put her in a nice outfit, the FAs fall all over themselves to bring her treats.

This is absolutely true. I wear a spot coat every time I fly and everyone from the gate agent to the FAs treat you better. I would put money on being dressed well has scored me upgrades on more than one occasion.

I think I've only gone out in public one time in pajamas. I was about as sick as I've ever been with the flu and needed to go to the pharmacy to pick up flu medicine. Other than that, leave them at home where they belong.

Girls wear that to high school.

this is true for any interactions with other people. Dress like trash guess what, you'll get treated as such.
