Is this like a thing now? Seen several people doing it this morning.

I can't think of anything that looks more sloppy than this.

I've also seen it quite a bit at Disney World. (Usually around Christmas.)

And it's almost always people in their early 30's. I'm embarrassed for my generation.

It's been a thing for at least 10 years now. Can't hate too much on people wanting to be comfortable on a flying greyhound bus.

Just think of the the true contempt Scimitar would have for your generation and you have your answer.

I've seen it on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Provided that you're flying with your minor children for Christmas and your upper bound is a discount fare on southwest, I'll look the other way.

Finally something we can agree on. Pajamas in public are not ok, unless it's some theme for the kids at school.

Also, adults and kids, fix your damn hair or wear a cap. I'm even more annoyed by ratty just-rolled-out-of-bed hair than pajamas. Have some f-ing self respect. Parents, fix your kid's hair if they are unable to do it themselves. It makes all of you look trashy.

In most public schools every day is a pajama day sadly

I've seen it at the grocery store. And I've come to the conclusion that babies who wore nothing but a diaper at the grocery store grow up to become adults that wear their pajamas to the grocery store.

It's only ok if it's a cute guy and I can see his package flopping around.

This.... I used to think it was trashy, but as the airlines have treated their customer worse ands worse over the years, I've changed my tune. United won't even give you snacks if the route is under 800 miles.

Man, y'all sound like a ball to travel with.

I wear whatever I want on planes. I just want to be as comfortable as possible.

I see it on the airplane many times. Along with flip flops and tank tops. I know I'm a nerdy pilot, but those are the people who need extra blankets at cruise. Also, if there is an issue and a rapid egress is required, they are not protected nor facilitated with the That dress.

And, it just looks crappy.

It's so embarrassing when you forget your jacket and the airline makes you wear the loaner jacket.

At least that's what my butler tells me.

good point. The airlines have gotten back to treating passengers worse than livestock. If they're going to do anything they can to make a buck then I guess being comfortable on a flight isn't completely out of line.

I agree but pj pants in public is just pathetic. Plenty of comfortable actual clothing options.

Yup happens at my kids high school and we live in a pretty affluent area. I guess it's just taking athleisure to the next level.

No. Yoga pants should be mandatory flight ware for hot chicks and moderately hot chicks. And really for most non fancy places they go.

I was about to post complaining about obese women who wear yoga pants. All I can do not to puke on the spot at times.

I kinda like looking cute when traveling, but its comfy outfits only.
But I never wear anything that I couldn't step off the airplane and go straight to a decent dinner/bar afterward.
Traveling in pj's is trashy.

When I flew 14 hours every month I bought a crushed velvet track suit and wore it on planes. As comfortable as PJ's IMO

Most people are complete trash. Fortunately wearing pajamas in public makes them easy to spot and avoid.

Last time I flew over 14 hours, I just wore the PJ set the airline gave me in business class.

Lufthansa didn't give me pajamas, just socks, a toothbrush, and a sleep mask
