I'm just putting ideas on my list, obviously there is a $50 limit and I am aware of that...so maybe someone can get an idea of what I like.
That's all you need to do. Everyone approaches things a little differently when gifting. I like to do some combination of two or more of the following:
1. Something straight from the list
2. Something inspired by the list, but not identical
3. Something I know the recipient likes from his or her posting history
4. Something unexpected and hopefully funny

I think it depends on the individual banana and how vigorously or repeatedly you wash your banana.
Good point. Sometimes it's vigorous like if I'm in a hurry before work, but sometimes on a lazy weekend morning I can spend a little more time and care on it.

I mean, you can ask for anything you want. I think for at least a couple of years, The Fife had a car on his wishlist. Asking and receiving, though, are two very different things.
I'd say it worked, I got a really small one instead of full sized one year. I'd say I got a fun sized one, but that would be the 100% scale model of an NSX.
