Been stabbed with scissors. Like full on used like a knife. Looks like I have a gnarly surgery scar on my belly.
Also had my favorite leather jacket (remember when those were a thing) put in a dryer with several broken bottles.

I got served with divorce papers on Valentines Day. Crazy part is that we were never married. It cost me $3 grand to break up with my girlfriend.

This happened to a buddy of mine and prior to her being his ex.
He got fixed up with a date for the Marine Corps Ball, one year. She was a real keeper. Three kids, 1 living with her ex's parents, the other 2 living with her parents. The kind of woman that smelled of WalMart cosmetics and bat **** crazy.
We warned this guy repeatedly about her, but he ends up marrying her about a month before we deployed.
Prior to deployment, he gets his pay set up where all but $100 of his check is going to her to pay rent and take care of bills, puts her on his bank account, and gives her power of attorney.
About 6 weeks into deployment, when the mail starts catching up to us, he pulls me aside and hands me a stack of letters and bills. (This was in the days prior to email). With each letter your could read the progressing bat **** crazy oozing out. It goes from I love you and miss you, to why don't you write me, you are cheating on me with some *****, to **** you and die, all in about 6 weeks. This is of course after all the spouses had been briefed that it would be 6 weeks before any of our mail reached home.
The other stack of mail was a ton of overdraft notices from the bank. The night before we left port, she had come down and had dinner with us. We had to be back on ship by 8, so we left her and her friend to roam San Diego. Where at 11:55 she made a fake deposit at an ATM to his account. When midnight rolled around, she withdrew the amount of the fake deposit. She did this multiple times. By the time mail caught up to us, he was about $5k in the hole. Then we find out about her not paying rent and buying a **** ton of furniture on credit using his information. By the time we got legal involved and her shut down, he was $25k in debt.
When we return from deployment, some Sgt. she had shacked up with walked up to my buddy and handed him divorce papers and was immediately accosted by the CO, 1st, and Company Gunny. After a good 30 minute ass chewing and warning the Sgt. he was screwing up by even being near that woman he was sent on his way. It took a good 2 years to get my buddy's situation sorted out.

I had an ex from a short term thing in high school become a cam ***** during the early MySpace days. That was hilarious to find out about. Now she's married with a couple of kids and I think the oldest is maybe 10 or so, and looks like any other average surburban mom.
The other stuff is pretty tame, somebody else I saw in my mid-20s managed to get knocked up a few years later and I'm assuming now she isn't drunk all the time. She was the type to keep getting drunk enough to stand up through the sunroof while I drove around. Someone else I was with the following year looked like she'd gained 40lbs or so last time I saw her. For all I know she's still scamming disability by claiming she can't sleep due to tinnitus.

He was a bit resistant so I murdered his family while he watched. He's much more cooperative now.

My cousin (33-34ish) was dating a 40ish yo elementary school admin that was already a grandma. Lived with her for a few years and tried to leave/break it off several times but would go back when she threatened to kill herself. Finally left this past November. He is still a little messed up but getting better. To my knowledge, they have had not contact or interaction since he moved out.
- One ex threatened to kill herself more than once if I broke up with her and after I broke up with her. She is still alive (I think) some 13 years later.
- Another one pressured me to move things faster after 4 months of dating because her family was pressuring her to move things faster.
